Oh, really? What'd you think? I was pleased, personally. It was sad to see a certain legacy character's death partway, too, but effective, and really had me cheering behind the remaining two when they stepped forward to take care of the killers and avenge him.
Sydney and Gale approaching the house where they know that it's about to go down, and after some encouragement between each other, the scene should have also had Sarah's Knight suddenly hop in beside them from off-camera and raise his sword like, "yeah, I got your backs, ladies! Let's go! (Don't need no gun; this sword, will do just fine, thanks)"
Then the final fight would have been even more awesome than it already was.
