CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

In an episode of Modern Family there is a business woman with OCD who has to fake sneeze when she hears someone else sneeze so there will be an even number of sneezes. Then I was watching Death on the Nile where the detective sends back one of his deserts. It was seven and he wanted it to be an even number.
The second was ambiguous but it came across as counting/numbers OCD. He really liked deserts but had one taken away, not because he'd be too full, but because it was uneven. It's interesting how sometimes you never see or hear things in media and then you'll encounter it more than once in a short period of time.

My friends are all excited about the new Buzz Lightyear movie. Not sure why. About 10 years too late for me. Plus I didn't care for Toy Story 3 or 4. I love cartoons, so it's not b/c I've outgrown it, I just think it's time to move on from this franchise.

Past couple days have been soooo slow at work. I don't want to be here today! I have anime to watch, video games to play, errands to run! Trying so hard to be thankful I have a job!

It takes me an hour to watch a 20 minute TV episode & 5 hours to watch a 2 hour movie. I need a GF so bad! She can help me power thru DVDs!

Well, aside from her, I meant. But that could only happen on special days, anyway. ^-^ If I wasn't allowed the privilege of playing music in my own lab every day I was there, then ... whew ... that would be a rough 12 hours to get through.

Sometimes I have that issue too where I find myself distracted watching things on my own. If you push yourself through the beginning though you might end up getting lost in it.
