CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well, you must understand, being from far south of Canada snow does not come so frequently to me as to end up being an unwanted house guest.

Hi guys! Just popping in to let everyone know I'm okay, but will be taking a small hiatus from CF. Some IRL responsibilities are demanding my attention.

I guess another knight somewhere out there was in need of her chilly but reassuring embrace. ^-^ Just causes me to appreciate the aesthetics of snow all the more when I am privileged to see it, because it is a relatively rare treasure.

At last a wonderful dream has come to me last night! Basically everything I had wished for in a moment of shy romantic confession held between myself and a cute lass that I had (in the dream world, that is) long ago given my heart to and thinking she'd never be able to reciprocate. And all of this in some kind of improvised school setting. Other people I knew from certain social settings in my real life past were also there to encourage us when they learned of the news. The stuff innocent romance anime is made from ... I think. ^-^
The girl in question was a familiar face from real life, but I do not take that point to heart. It is just nice to undergo such a dream that causes my high romantic ideals to become a reality for me; it gives me hope that just maybe it will come to pass one day in the real world - not with a specific person I once loved in the past, but just in general, with someone I may not even know yet at the present but will one day meet and fall hopelessly for.
