If I had to choose between Daphne and Velma, I'd choose Velma. But that's a choice between the Pretty Girl and the Nerdy Girl, rather than anything to do with wealth. Velma just seems more likely to be interesting, and I think I could relate to her better.
As for wealth, I think people with similar levels of wealth are more likely to have a similar outlook on life and money management. Although that's not guaranteed. Certainly you can find people who have a small income and know how to make it go a long way, and people with a huge income who manage to squander most of it. From that point of view it may be best to find someone who has a similar approach to money management.
I think one of the biggest differences is that very wealthy people tend to pay people to do stuff and solve their problems, because they value time, and they can have more time if they pay someone else to clean their u-bend and fix their car. I'm a bit odd in that respect, because I'm very independent, and I do most things myself. If my car needs servicing or repairing, I do it myself.
I once had a girlfriend who liked that I took her on days out using my car, but got agitated when I spent a long time repairing the car. She couldn't understand why I didn't just do what almost everyone else does, and pay someone else to repair it, or buy a new car. But the thing is, some of the people she compared me to had large credit card debts, and owed a lot on payment schemes for cars, whereas I never owed anyone anything in relation to my car.
