@cara-mia Okay Cuppie, you must find me an ENTJ! I don’t ask for much. Two ENTJs can be a dynamic match. :ebil:

Here’s some interesting tidbits.

ENTJ is one of the least common types in the population, and the rarest type among women (with INTJ). ENTJs make up:
  • 2% of the general population
  • 3% of men
  • 1% of women
Interesting facts about the ENTJ:
  • On personality trait measures, score as Ambitious, Forceful, Optimistic, Egotistical, Adaptable, and Energetic
  • Least likely of all types to report stress resulting from work or finances
  • More likely than average to suffer cardiac problems
  • Among the least likely of all types to believe in a higher spiritual power
  • Among top 4 types in college GPA
  • Among most likely to stay in college
  • Personal values include Home/Family, Achievement, Creativity, and Learning
  • Overrepresented among MBA students and small business owners
  • One of two types most likely to be satisfied with their work
Career:
  • Most likely of all types to earn a high salary
  • Most likely of all types to manage a large team
  • Least likely of all types to report being unemployed
  • Least likely of all types to report being a stay-at-home parent
  • Earn more than any other type when self-employed
Hobbies:

Popular hobbies for ENTJs include taking leadership positions in community groups, attending social gatherings or sporting events, and playing competitive sports. Because ENTJs are so often focused on their careers, they may have few interests outside of work, or they may participate in leisure activities that also help to further their careers.
.....

They’re describing me to a tee. Even the hobbies bit. :p

This personality type is more appealing than the other. He’s not emoting 24/7. I don’t need that. The combination of togetherness, growth, and a shared outlook is my ideal.

Strange. INFJ's supposedly make up just 2% of the population. As I thought, they just tell everyone they make up 2% of the population to make everyone feel special.

Remember when people would race to the next thread after the split to be the first poster?

That just showed you how outdated the system was. A split every thousand replies was just obscene, especially when you had twenty members at one time making multiple posts a page.
The thread splits were caused by software designs of the database that when threads got longer it slowed down the whole forum. Now the new software and more memory and faster computers the need to split threads is gone. We also had perhaps 5-10 times as many people in the forum back then and a lot of entertainment in games and customizing your "look" and giving and spending blessings... all of which are basically either gone or no longer entertaining. Add to all of this Facebook taking away perhaps 60-80% of folks here for good. Without the entertainment we used to have now it is mostly chat and debates. I used to look at "new posts" and see over 85% of them were in entertainment, fellowship etc. threads. Now the number is about 70% politics.
There is less fun and way more competition for people's attention now. Back in 2008 we used to have threads where people would be paid in blessings for posting in them and one time someone paid a fortune per post in a thread and it went through 1000 posts in I think a little over 30 minutes.

Strange. INFJ's supposedly make up just 2% of the population. As I thought, they just tell everyone they make up 2% of the population to make everyone feel special.

I don’t know the stats for the other types off the top of my head but I looked it up.

It’s a Tie! INFJs and ENFJs are the Rarest Male Personality Types

Men who value Intuition, Feeling, and Judging only make up 2.8% of the male population combined! Insightful and empathetic, these types have a desire to draw their communities towards progress and change. Because of their future-oriented, abstract focus, they aim to motivate people towards a vision or picture of how they want the future to be. They have a knack for understanding how to move people on an emotional level.

The ENTJ is the Rarest Female Personality Type

Female ENTJs make up only 1.5% of the female population. These ambitious types are known for their bold, strategic nature and their ability to bring people on board for their vision. Decisive and insightful, they tend to pioneer new paths in technology and business. In fact, this type is also the highest-earning personality type!

The ENTJ – The Rarest MBTI Type

Making up a mere 1.8% of the population, ENTJs are the rarest of all the 16 personality types. However, these types don’t usually mind being rare – in fact, they tend to like it! As independent achievers, they don’t feel a compulsion to “fit in” as many other types do. They value intelligence and competence and are forceful in applying themselves towards their revolutionary goals.

The ENFJ – Second Rarest MBTI Type

ENFJs are the second-rarest personality type, making up only 2.2% of the population. These insightful, compelling types tend to know just the right buttons to push to motivate people towards their goals. Because they are so passionate and understanding, ENFJs have a gift for motivating people towards personal growth. They are usually very directive and decisive in achieving goals that they feel are best for communities as a whole.

The INFJ – Third Rarest MBTI Type

The INFJ personality has long been touted as the rarest personality type of all, even by me! However, over the last decade, they have become slightly less rare and now make up 2.3% of the population. INFJs are the “Mystics” of the Myers-Briggs system and have a gift for anticipating future implications. They are primarily focused on the big picture and they tend to have an eye towards long-range plans and less of a focus on day-to-day details. These types are deeply in-tune with patterns, symbols, and abstract possibilities. Typically caring and compassionate, they have a knack for understanding human motivations.

The INTJ – Fourth Rarest MBTI Type

Intellectual, creative, and strategic – the INTJ is the second-rarest female personality type and the fourth-rarest male personality type. These individuals are driven to understand the deeper meaning behind what happens in life. It’s as if they want to grasp the “dance of the universe” and see more deeply into situations and events than most people ever consider in their lifetime. They naturally synthesize complex theoretical matters to devise strategies and develop visionary objectives.

The ENTP – 4.3% of the National Sample

As the fifth-rarest personality type, ENTPs are known for their innovative, imaginative approach to life. Because they are drawn towards novelty and transformation, ENTPs are the quintessential “idea-people” of the world. Quick, ingenious, and charismatic, they are adept at generating possibilities and analyzing them in a strategic way.

The INTP – 4.8% of the National Sample

Quiet and reflective, INTPs have a desire to understand the logical explanation for everything that happens. Because these types are so deeply analytical, they have a unique ability to focus in-depth on a problem in order to solve it. They rarely get impatient when problem-solving, unless they are pressured or micro-managed by others (which they hate). They are typically skeptical, curious, and creative.

The ESFJ – 5.7% of the National Sample

The rarity of ESFJs surprised me because they were ranked as the 2nd most common personality type in results from 1972-2002. I don’t know why this type has become rarer, but it’s an interesting new development! ESFJs are the warm-hearted, conscientious centers of most communities. These types work with determination to create a harmonious, fair world. They are typically pragmatic, loyal, and supportive and contribute a great deal to the causes they believe in.

The ESFP – 6% of the National Sample

Outgoing, charismatic, and friendly – ESFPs have a zest for life that is nearly unmatched. These adventurous souls aim to live each day to its fullest potential and approach work, life, and family with a sense of fun. Flexible and spontaneous, ESFPs adapt quickly to new people and environments.

The ESTP – 6.1% of the National Sample

Realistic and action-oriented – ESTPs focus on enjoying life and solving real-world, immediate problems. These spontaneous, adventurous types enjoy taking smart risks and often pursue entrepreneurial careers or ventures in the stock market or law enforcement. They enjoy thinking on their feet and having an active, fast-paced life.

The INFP – 6.3% of the National Sample

Idealistic, compassionate, and creative – INFPs are often the artists, authors, and background helpers of the world. They are usually quick to see possibilities and potential in people and themselves. They usually appear flexible on the outside but inwardly are very committed to their values and beliefs.

The ISFP – 6.6% of the National Sample

Sensitive but pragmatic – ISFPs are passionately loyal to the values that are important to them. They have a free-spirited, inquisitive approach to life and tend to enjoy traveling, creating, and spending time in nature. These types want to make a hands-on difference in the lives of others and are over-represented in health-care and emergency service industries as a result.

The ENFP – 8.2% of the National Sample

Compassionate and charismatic – ENFPs see life as full of possibilities and potential. They quickly make connections between events and information and make decisions based on the patterns they see. These types readily give support and reassurance to others and have a flexible, spontaneous approach to life.

The ISFJ – 8.4% of the National Sample

Supportive and loyal, ISFJs are often the good Samaritans of the type community. These types believe in nurturing their communities and preserving the details and traditions that give life a sense of beauty and meaning. They are usually considerate, responsible, and conscientious.

The ESTJ – 9% of the National Sample

Determined, practical, and matter-of-fact – ESTJs move through life with a desire to organize everything for maximum efficiency. These types focus on getting results without expending a lot of unnecessary energy. They have an eye for details and a clear set of logical standards they adhere to. They are usually very ambitious and determined in implementing their plans.

The ISTP – 9.8% of the National Sample

Adventurous and analytical, ISTPs are able to find solutions quickly in make-or-break situations. They enjoy gathering information and using it in a hands-on way in the real world. Autonomous and often mysterious, these types are highly observant to their surroundings and quickly find opportunities and resources that can be used to aid them in their goals.

The ISTJ – 15.9% of the National Sample

As the most common personality type, ISTJs are the foundation of many communities and workplaces around the world. These types are highly detail-oriented, pragmatic, and grounded. Because they are so detail-oriented and dependable, they are prized in the workforce and are often over-represented in careers like accounting and law enforcement. ISTJs strive to be reasonable in their decisions and value common sense and wisdom gained by experience. Because of this, they are usually quick to decide logically how to handle situations. They usually work towards goals steadily, regardless of roadblocks or distractions. It’s important for them to make the world a more organized, sensible, and effective. It’s a good thing we have so many of these types in the world!

Social media attracts a different demographic. It’s more personal. You can customize your feed and control who sees/engages with your content (on some platforms). There’s greater diversity too. I can explore all my interests on one platform. Lengthy discussions are the forte of forums and similar venues.

Oh, I know Bookface is an all-in-all do everything platform and has games and apps to do everything but milk your cow for you compared to this forum we are in the "stone-age" comparably speaking.

Why is that?
Simply because the budget and profit margin and lack of either being able or not wanting to sell personal information of members of the forum. I didn't sign up for Bookface because I didn't trust them to not make my personal information public to others for a profit. I also don't like my real name used online if possible as it opens you up to people who can be either criminal or mentally ill getting involved in your life without your permission.
They have stripped out all the entertainment code that this forum used to have andt Bookface has tons of games and all sort of things to entice people to hang out there constantly and with your real name out front people that knew you in life can contact you and make for a mess. I've had trouble with relatives and others in life and have no desire to have to deal with them ever again if possible as I am more apt to want to help anyone that asks me than get mean and tell them to take a hike it is easier for me to not get involved than to have to tell people to go away as too often I seem unable to get rid of some people who are almost mentally insane I think.

Yeah, I know what you mean. People are nosey and some don’t understand/respect boundaries. The things I used to do years ago when the Internet was young are unlikely to happen again in that way.

I’d talk on the phone, cam, and meet people in person. I’ve had several at my house too. And I wasn’t in Christian settings. I was fortunate they were sane. :D

Here you go little miss zenstah. We need to frame this. :tutu:

Cool. Does that mean that the pretend scifi/fantasy/martial arts action novel I once started to write the brainstorming basis for (and could also double as an anime OVA, I imagine) in my high school years, Destiny of an Empress, will somehow become a reality someday because just now I went through a dream about it being made and played out as a movie in the same vein as the 1995 Mortal Kombat movie (which to this day is one of very few video game-based movies ever made that was actually beloved by gaming fans)? Because it was an awesome dream!

Oh, I wish you could have seen it, Bella. What my mind was conjuring up back then brainstorming for the story and what I was dreaming about with it being made into an anime-ish fantasy martial arts film. That was one of the best dreams I ever had! Especially since I was viewing it through the eyes of the Johnny Cage equivalent character I had dreamed up, a young rascally ninja in training named Norn Cossack, who was also like Cherubino from the Marriage of Figaro opera in that he was also chasing after all of the cute young ladies he ever came across, but in a nice innocent, non-sexual way. ^_^

Why not? You’re very creative and could lend much needed depth and wholesomeness to that genre. All you need is encouragement and a willingness to start again. You could serialize it and drip it out. Just like Dickens. Build a fanbase and people notice. :D

I’ve got a serious book crush. This looks good! :)

Imagine that prayer could be like savoring a fine French meal - a flow of engaging courses featuring creative recipes, infusing all your senses, and enticing a return for more. Is it possible? Yes! “Creative” doesn’t actually do this book justice.

David Brazzeal stirs together a love of French dining and his innovative prayer practices with a dash of international adventure to concoct an inspiring, reinvigorating prayer experience. Fun, yet profound, from confession to meditation, from observing to lamenting to praising, this book is full of practical ideas.

Some can be used immediately to spice up your next prayer time; others take a lifetime to master. Some can be used with groups, while others work well throughout the day.

In the beginning they didn't have any internet site recording but as data storage got cheaper and bots searching internet pages got around more it got to where anything a bot could access (not banned from scanning a server) could end up forever recorded and there are web sites that you can read stuff on a lot of sites that were deleted and unavailable now on the original site.
I've learned that more and more you have to "test" people before you trust them starting out with something little that won't be much of a loss and working up to something that losing it would be inconvenient.
I guess I have a sort of positive opinion of people as long as I can keep them away from my personal life and then I have a negative opinion of them because I've found that as new generations progress their manners and respect for others is greatly diminished such that you can no longer "feel" at ease trusting anyone without almost getting a private investigator or setting a trap for them to see if they take the bait before you trust them.
Most of the internet IMO is powered by greed. It is not necessarily a bad thing but often we have people that lie online to "get what they want" and the percentage of these lies online verses in person in local public settings is huge to the point that you almost have to be paranoid to not get stung.

.... And how coincidental. ^-^

I always imagined the main character of Destiny of an Empress, Princess Rimu Arrowny, the naive and doe-eyed young swordswoman suddenly bereft of her precious family and kingdom by the whims of the great otherwordly tyrannical invader Lord Ketsith Zeraalt, as being very innocent-eyed with long brunette hair and a slightly freckled face. .... That is the face of my crush Erin as I came across her again this morning leaving work, except that Erin has shoulder-length brunette hair instead of down to the waist. ^_^ And then I go and dream about Princess Rimu and the story I wrote the base for as a child, and that was the first time I had thought about it at all in probably years! :D

I am pretty sure Erin will not be "the one" by any means. It is a hopeless and in many ways childish crush and I am fine with it remaining that way if it must. She is just a very amiable and beautiful person I am glad to have met and gained romantic feelings for, such as they are. No need to regret it at all. :)
But, at the same time, this might surely mean some great destiny as far as my wayward aimless writing as a child culminating in Destiny of an Empress is concerned! Meaningless coincidence that I would see my crush for the first time in a month when normally I do so three or four times in the same amount of time, and thus had been eager to see and greet her again when the chance would finally present itself, who vaguely resembles Princess Rimu Arrowny, and then I dream about the story based around Rimu that very late morning and afternoon that I sleep after coming from work, when the mere thought of it had scarcely crossed my mind in years? Iiiiii think not.:idea1:
