I used to love them! I read them like a book. Did you? *lol*

I about froze in the Air conditioning section and got bored when I got to automobile dealers and auto parts as I seem to never able to make it through the endless pages of them.

I've learned that more and more you have to "test" people before you trust them starting out with something little that won't be much of a loss and working up to something that losing it would be inconvenient.

I don't tell people the same things. Tracing the source is simple. Overall, I look at the way people treat themselves. It gives me a barometer of esteem, personality issues, etc. I look at their interactions with others and their response to my comments.

I've found that as new generations progress their manners and respect for others is greatly diminished such that you can no longer "feel" at ease trusting anyone without almost getting a private investigator or setting a trap for them to see if they take the bait before you trust them.

I'm not doing all that. It takes years to know someone. My friend card is full. The only people entering my circle are business associates.

Many years ago I did book reviews. I have a lot of contacts in the publishing industry. I talk to a lot of authors and know several NYT best sellers.

I am pretty sure Erin will not be "the one" by any means. It is a hopeless and in many ways childish crush and I am fine with it remaining that way if it must. She is just a very amiable and beautiful person I am glad to have met and gained romantic feelings for, such as they are. No need to regret it at all.

*taps your nose and smiles* That's okay. I understand. I shared my recent exploits with someone. I think he fainted. He knew me when I couldn't sew, shoot a camera, didn't have a blog, etc. I think it floored him. I've come a long way.

He isn't the one. No amount of nostalgia would send me in that direction. I know what I need.

But, at the same time, this might surely mean some great destiny as far as my wayward aimless writing as a child culminating in Destiny of an Empress is concerned!

Exactly, and listen to the way they talk and the focus of what they say and their mastery of language and choice of words as it can reveal their focus in life and what is truly important. I've found people that use expletives in almost every sentence and have a limited vocabulary that aren't particularly driven in life. If they focus on one thing or themselves and nitpick others and start rumors and talk down to you that is who they are.

I'm not doing all that. It takes years to know someone. My friend card is full. The only people entering my circle are business associates.

I agree with that, some people take years but a few you can know they almost instantly for the most part but also I've met some really loving and caring people that on the outside they are the same as their inside. They don't hide any secrets about who they are and what they think essentially transparent. The problem however is today people seem more and more to have ulterior motives when it comes to being friends. I have found friends are too expensive, stressful, and time consuming for the most part.

I've been blessed to meet people who love me in a space and time I can't grasp. When you've spent 18 and 23 years loving someone. You know what you're getting.

I have known @cara-mia for nearly 19 years. Her future children are set for life. They have no college tuition. It's done. She earned the blessing.
