I've got almost 2 weeks left of vacation and I am completely bored.

I'm not meant to have this much time away from work. It's not natural. I need to find something to do that doesn't involve being around other people.

May have the early symptoms of a cold or influenza; had a slight fever, headache and muscle aches last night and this morning. Hopefully whatever this is passes quickly.

Thank you to everyone who prayed yesterday. Not feeling 100%, but doing a lot better; was probably just a minor head cold.

Not going to work today.. the roads are just too icy. I don't feel good about calling in, but I just can't do icy roads. Snow is fine, but ice is not. Especially what happened this Saturday. You had people literally using ice skates on the roads and sidewalks.

visiting but with the possibility of seeing how Canada is and move there when i finish my degree. Occupational therapist are on the needed list for Canada

Worse ice.. when it rains.. but suddenly the temperature goes down and the road just turns into slick ice.

Snowed a lot today though.. which is good because it helps melt the ice and the snow trucks will take care of the rest.

That’s dangerous for driving. I don’t drive but I know this.

And walking is hazardous if sidewalks aren’t cleared. You made the right choice. Hopefully, the salt trucks are out in force. Stay safe!

Yeah I feel bad, because attendance is important for me.. but I just draw the line at things like this.. I can handle a lot of snow.. but not ice.. especially the viral videos that appeared from Minnesota from Saturday.. sadly some people even died. Plus I live far away from work.. if it was like a 10-20 minute drive I'd probably do it.. but it's an hour either way.

We’ve had warnings and school closings over black ice in the past. Unfortunately, there’s always a few whose carelessness causes hardships.

It’s great you want to be there. But not at the risk of your safety. That comes first.

This is worse than black ice, the whole street is just a sheet of ice. People were using ice skates to skate around the streets.
