Are there just no wild animals there to worry about?
We have coyotes here that like eating pets. If we didn’t have fences they’d be in our yard all the time.

Where I live.. sometimes there are foxes and whatnot.. although they don't seem to cause any trouble.

Why do houses not have fences on the east coast? Is it because they don’t have coyotes or something?

(I’m sure some do have fences - but most didn’t seem to have any in the areas of the east coast that I’ve visited.)

It’s the biggest “culture shock” I got when I first visited the east coast as a teenager, and it still confuses me.

If anyone knows please share your insights.

I live on the East Coast, and most houses in my neighborhood have fenced backyards. Few have fenced front yards, however, so you might not notice.

I did it.
I baked buns yesterday and they turned out soft and lovely and just like my Aunt's. As my dad said, now my new place is officially a home LOL.
However, one issue. I ran out of regular oil and swapped olive oil. So now the rest have a very very slight hint of olive oil... and I"m just not a fan. :/

I guess I'll just have to try again today...

Yeah, Death Stranding is one of my favorite PS4 games. Excited to see what future games will take away and expand upon this one. Seems like the possibilities could go even further.

I think it's time to move on from the Dyatlov Pass Incident. I investigated and came to some conclusions, but I don't think any theory so far can explain all the factors. I don't know if it will ever be solved properly.

Beauty is indeed wondrous and very powerful, yet can also be very dangerous - so much so that we are often warned about it in scripture. King Solomon's heart was ravished by beauty, and the 8th wonder of the world certainly didn't find his demise from a primitive air force.

However, with so many plastering their "beauty" on social media, or weaponizing it for personal gain, many have wised up to what true beauty really is. It's not something subjective, who's value is bestowed by the perspective of the beholder nor by how many followers they have; there is objective beauty, which is in short supply nowadays. An attractive women with godly character is a force to be reckoned with.

Did you guys see the new Tesla Cybertruck? It looks like something from a 1980s science fiction film!

The fact it can get up to 500 miles (805 kilometers) per charge is very impressive.

Although, I'm not sure what he was thinking regarding the design. It actually reminds me a lot of modern brutalist architecture - stark, ugly, smooth / basic geometric surfaces, but gets the job done - or like something from a dystopian movie.

Let's hope the driver doesn't need to lean forward, let alone transport adults in the backseat. Triangles are quite strong, which may help keep the weight down, but the cabin seems to have a headroom problem. Then again, although the Cybertruck might not be ergonomic for humans, it looks perfect for the robots that they'd like to replace us with.
