  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What's on your mind?

Man, the things you can do when you're rich. ^_^

These are cool designs. I say as long as you got the money for it and it isn't taking priority over the health of your own human children or something, then your loyal animal companion does deserve to be treated a bit like this. ^-^

For some reason Anthony your post immediately reminded me of this old Married With Children episode that was probably one of the funniest to me, where Al Bundy endeavored to build a doghouse for Buck and the neighbor Marcy was getting him back for something by bribing a building inspector to come by to Al's backyard and continually harass him as he tried to build the house. The inspector would come up with all sorts of ridiculous violations that would force Al to tear down the doghouse just after finishing it and start again from scratch. Eh, just droning on about good times that one's post here might remind me of. ^_^

I often think about what if I won that 2006 McDonald's Monopoly prize. If I collected all four Rail Road game pieces, I would have won annuity of $250,000 a year for 20 years at age 14. I would have made high school my female dog. I'd probably go to high school dressed like a pimp or a king, fund a bunch of charities and events there, get invited to parties (as long as I pay for the alcohol) and get a lot more female attention than I actually did. I'd probably be a celebrity in my town.

Once I graduate, I'd take my family on a summer long vacation to Europe and then move to another city where I have more family there. I'd then live frugally and work a low responsibility job. The annuity would be good until 2026 so I'd be saving up my retirement and just enjoy life until then.

Man, Wayholk, you had this all planned out in detail, didn't you? Well, if you had won, then no one would be able to say that you were boring in how you handled your wealth, at least. ^_^

Why would she have gotten banned? I don't remember her being unpleasant in any way, certainly not contentious.

I believe her and the owner of this site had a behind the scenes argument which got her booted. I do miss her, she was crazy enough to get me.

Studying the universe is such a soul destroying practise when you dive DEEP. The time and the scale of it is SO incomprehensibly infinite that we really are a complete insignificance - even to planet earth.

we are the pinnacle of His creation. idk. it makes me happy

Perhaps the only thing more amazing than the universe is the human mind...

Been trying to comprehend the special theory of relativity.. the universe is pretty mind boggling.. we can comprehend better than any other animal.. yet we still have brains that are probably poor uncapable of grasping many things in the universe.

Friday is supposed to be a pretty silly film, but there's one really good scene where John Witherspoon schools Ice Cube about what it means to be a real man ... and it ain't the ability to shoot and kill someone.

General Tso chicken courtesy of my novice culinary abilities for dinner tonight. ... Only sangria could be fitting as the choice of beverage here, but only because at the moment no other liquid inhabits the fridge. ^_^

I was browsing through Deviant Art and found out there's yet another new generation of Pokemon. Pokemon Sword and Shield this time.

When will Nintendo run out of ideas for this 20+ year old franchise??
My brother showed me those a few days ago. I don't keep up with Pokemon much anymore, but it's still interesting to look at the new ones. I do wonder how they can keep track of so many Pokemon and not run out of ideas. If this generation is large enough, there could be over 1,000 Pokemon total!
