It's not something Christians are obligated to do. In a sense, it flows out of who we are in Jesus. In other words, we love because we want to; not have to. If that sounds too Christianese to you I'm sorry. They'll be other times to be a fool. But that's the only way I can answer that. Then there's the charismatic church environment. But even those members (if their worth their salt) would have to agree that emotions fall in order: Truth, faith/obedience, and then emotions.If the emotions are not high.. where is the pure desire?
No offense.. but if I found out someone was being nice to me to fulfill some Christian obligation I would feel cool and have no connection with them.
