Steam brought up a message to me today that Friday the 13th the game was on sale for just 6 dollars. ... What better way to spend this Halloween, right? Than to test my survival skills in an interactive 80's slasher film.


First game I played .... I was the first of the protagonists to die by Jason Voorhees' hands. Honestly, going by slasher movie rules I thought I at least had an amicable enough personality to not be the first victim. And to boot I am also a virgin who has never done drugs. ..... You know those are always the three most undesirable traits to have in a person if he/she wants to live through a slasher film, right? Sex addict, drug addict, or self-preserving macho jerk.

I even played as Jenny Myers. Wasn't she like, the lone survivor in one of the Friday the 13th movies?



... Oh, I get it now, game. It's because I drink, right? Come on, I drink SANGRIA. We're not exactly talking witless party animal, here.

(Actually I was the first to die because I was a total newbie to this game and barely knew how to play. =P )

I am sorry to hear this Miss Multi. You are too young to lose a grandparent as far as I am concerned. May I ask what has happened to her?

Thank you guys. It's pretty hard to lose someone you love. This will actually be my third time losing a grandparent, sadly. (I was a late child, so my grandparents are older than average.) My grandma has just been having a lot of health issues lately, and is not doing well now, it's likely from old age.

May it be known that I do not mean to trivialize or in any way distract from the good Multifavs' current predicament as described above when I say this at this tine, but ....

Just quickly went through recent posts by my friends at Facebook and the mother of the girl I once loved all throughout college posted a video of Sarah speaking on a radio show recounting her having survived cancer a few years ago. Seeing that face, her bravery and will to live, and her ever-present smile, sometimes makes me regret not fighting for her. For how can I imagine another creature as beautiful both within and without as she? (But such a woman is out there, I believe.) But of course, I know deep down inside I was right to let go and relinquish my love for her after five years when she chose someone else. It was surely God's will that things turned out this way.

Think about it, SK. To even so much as have the knowledge, the memories that you once knew and loved so great a woman and that she graciously accepted it even if she had no intentions of reciprocating it, is more than what many men can say about their own love lives.

Tell me if I'm crazy. I'm looking at jeans because I want to get a pair cut into 3/4 style for summer.

Unfortunately stores don't offer men's like this, but they do women's, they look the same style as what I would want and I could save around 111%

But is there much of a difference in the cut that you can't tell by looking? Also, how do the sizings work? They're completely different
