Hopefully just two more days - next Thursday and Friday night - slaving under Sara's watchful eye at work before Nel finally lets me go out on my own. It was supposed to be after today, but, Nel likes to change his mind constantly about things. Ugh ....
The Lord kindly helped me to somehow keep up with the workload in my lab today all by myself as I had prayed, but, ... there were still a few mistakes made along the way, even if I got it all done.
Thankfully one of the reasons I went back to Albemarle in the first place was that, even if mistakes can get some people mad at you for a time, it doesn't ruin everything for an entire day like it did at Nestle Health Science, especially if you are like me and have been in the game long enough to know exactly what it is you did wrong before anyone else even knows and can fix it at relatively little cost- just time. Still, it sucks having someone else over me during training who sees all of these mistakes too and has to get on to me about it, likely because she's only afraid of having to take guff from someone above her like Nel if she doesn't get me back in line soon enough. But in terms of handling the workload, I say I did great today, and thankfully Willie the shift lead tech on Sara's crew told me this today as well in recognition of my hard work despite the blunders.

If I can just make it through two more work days I guess, Sara won't have to worry about getting in trouble with Nel because of me anymore and I can feel less pressured and makes less mistakes anyway by being on my own, anyway, because no one will be looking over my shoulder. Everyone wins that way in my opinion. Because again, while any one of a thousand things can go wrong, with my experience I can likely know what went wrong and correct it myself without that much trouble and in most cases no one will even know or be inconvenienced. It's just a matter of having to use up more time than normal going back and fixing it. But if you work hard enough throughout the twelve-hour day, you can manage with ultimately no setbacks or problems that hurt other people in the plant in some way.
