Seriously.... I wish my deodorant would stop smelling like bananas..... :|

Never getting a two pack of "Ocean Rush" again.
That reminds me, there’s some all-natural pumpkin-scented deodorant that I want to get.
The basic white girls will be all over me :sunglasses:

Well I have little yellow tictacs with eyes following me everywhere.

OMM: Acceptance

I am so miserable when I try to push myself to be someone I'm not. Wow, I had forgotten how it feels.
The more I accept the different colours and parts of my personality the happier I am. It's so darn cliche, and as much as it pains me, it's also true.

I like my odd assortment of different Skittle flavours. Let's be honest, it's boring eating only one colour.
I’m always miserable when I try to fit into, or like you said push, myself into someone others want me to be or who I think others want me to be.
When I’m just myself, and comfortable just being me I feel so peaceful, happy, and joyful. But not everyone can accept me how I am, and that can hurt and make it harder to remember again that I feel best as myself. What God thinks is way more important than what anyone else does.

Just spent the last 3 hours cleaning the new place. I can't believe I did not notice this checking the place out the first time but the bathroom was absolutely filthy, with several dead roaches in the bathtub. After freaking out and obsessively cleaning that out several times over with some bamboo-scented cleaner from Walgreens, Chlorox wipes, and disinfectant spray, and then getting about half the walls wiped down with that same weird bamboo cleaner, i settled down to rest finally on the couch (after Febreezing the you-know-what out of that as well).

And of course as I suspected would happen I began to feel quite a bit lonely and anxious. :(
I suspect that only occurred just primarily due to my not having had the chance to get my possessions set up and the walls decked out appropriately with my collection of Final Fantasy, Xenosaga, Chrono Trigger, and other video gaming related wall scrolls like I used to have in my previous places where I lived on my own. The place hasn't been christened with SK's personal touch yet, is all. ^-^ So of course this doesn't feel like home yet, and that is why i may have to live with some anxiety for a while. As for the awful mess in the bathtub, I suspect that like many of the inhabitants in these apartments, the previous inhabitant was an elderly person who needed some caretaking and actually did not use the tub at all (maybe given sponge baths instead or something in her bed, which itself looks reminiscent of a retirement home's kind of bed, by the way), and of course never kept it clean, and then whoever the landlady sent out to check the apartment and clean it after the last person moved out just somehow completely neglected the bathroom. Ick ....

On the plus side, I did already meet some new people even at 9pm in the night as I first came up to the place. The neighbors downstairs and to the left were opening their front door and stepping out as I was passing by, so I said hello and introduced myself as a new neighbor of theirs, Will. :) They were an elderly woman and her Hispanic lady caretaker, and they seemed happy to have me move in. We talked for a bit before i politely excused myself to begin the arduous task of lugging things from the car and up the stairs. Apparently the caretaker also has a son just beginning his first year at Southern Arkansas University in a week or so. I assured her that it was a good school that I was quite satisfied with, at least when I went there in my time. :)

Well, welcome to your new home, SK. (God willing the dead roaches in the tub are not an ill omen, and no such filthy incident will occur here again.)

.... It also just occurred to me that "welcome to your new home" was the last thing that the hapless heroine Claire Redfield heard from her jailers at the beginning of Resident Evil: Code Veronica X, before being knocked unconscious with the butt of a rifle.

.....

*SK checks quickly behind him while typing all this out on the couch*

Hrrrmmm management should've ensured that the place was clean before you moved in. I'd say get some torches and light em up walk to the office and be like, "I need to speak to the manager!"

But that's good, sounds like you have good neighbors. Prayers that you would soon adapt to your new surroundings and be surrounded by good people over there. Maybe have a house blessing? Invite a minister over to pray for the place so to disperse any evil omen or whatnot.

Our main desktop computer's monitor died suddenly today, so now we need to get a new one. But it was nine years old so it did well.

Thanks for the prayers, really. Please continue them for me over the course of the next month or so, if I may intrude.

Thankfully as I was typing that last post out last night I already began to feel better, more calm, especially as a light-hearted and jazzy sort of theme from this old anime based off of Jules Verne's book 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, called Nadia: Secret of the Blue Water, came on the phone's playlist.
