Wow, what a cool old vehicle! Nice color too.Was running some stops earlier, and noticed someone pull up closeby in a 1954 Ford Ranchero. He was proud to show it off, and had no problem giving me a look in the interior and at the engine, very cool.

He said he bought it from an older guy for $627, believe it or not; I guess that seller was looking to just get rid of it. Most of the parts are all original, but he did a lot of work on it himself.I like cars from the latter half of the 20th century. That truck looks like it's in excellent condition considering it's from the 1950's. He must have either gotten an excellent deal or he took darn good care of that vehicle.
Prayers! Break a leg SK! lol (who comes up with these idioms)

For sure, it's a thing of beauty.$627?! That's a steal for a vintage car! If that means it was in poor condition, then I guess he did a lot of work on it indeed!
I mean, just from looking at the pictures it looks brand new!
Oh great, what have I started.
For sure, it's a thing of beauty. Most vehicles here are all modern, but I still see some classic VWs off and on - rarely, Pierce-Arrows and others.
Oh great, what have I started.
I've actually been trying to think up more idioms all day, but can't think of anymore lol. My reputation is on the line here, hmm.![]()
But much more violent for the pigs@SarahsKnight: Bring home the bacon! (lol a less violent idiom)
I shall! Also, I nominate SK for the community, since this whole thing is his fault for going to Magnolia today.yes anthony, you should take full responsibility of this...SK needs a good supply of idioms...
we should create a committee of dedicated idiom makers, visionaries who can successfully construct and combine simple words into vague complex meanings...
