Well, this is going to be quite a trip. Off to Hot Springs, AR on Thursday and then to Russellville a few hours away from there on Sunday. Both for interviews.

.... Was kind of hoping the recruiters would be content with just a phone interview since I live seven hours away. But, I guess it's a good sign if they are willing to invite me for an in-person interview when I live so far away. Maybe it will show dedication on my part when I go that far. ^-^

If I may interject a few prayer requests, everyone.

Least of all, for my safety on this upcoming trip and that I somehow don't mess up the interviews to come in the next week, whether I am accepted for the job or not.

But then, more importantly, for two things. 1) For a girl who used to be at CF a lot until maybe a year and a half ago and seemed to suffer from scrupulosity for far longer than I did (which is to say even just one day of it is hell). Her avatar name on here was HannahT, I believe, and she seemed to live almost daily in misery from this damned disease. Please pray that God heals she and every other victim of scrupulosity from their pain, soon. It is a terrible form of obsessive compulsive disorder to say the least.

And 2), please pray for my friend Lantis' wife Rachel, who I found out today still lives with chronic pain in her wrist and forearm, and for years she has been trying to find a doctor who can diagnose the problem. And what looked like a hopeful avenue recently just became a big letdown for her. The most recent doctor she's been too performed all manner of tests and can honestly find nothing useful, apparently not even enough information to know what kind of medicine he could safely prescribe to her to at least manage the pain. It's pretty bad. They are back to square one on this problem with very little hope left. Please pray that God will help Rachel to find the solution to this soon. Chronic pain - even minimal pain - is very hard to just live with.

Let me tell you, Wal-Mart isn't the best place to be day before the 4th. They were calling for me on the walkie every five minutes, needing me to out out fires. I haven't worked on the salesfloor like that in over two years. It's nice to know I still got it in me. They were calling for me so much that even when I walkied back to them that I was busy in the middle of something and would get to them when I could, that they would just page me on the overhead anyway xD

Also, I'm not saying it's hot out, but a couple hobbits just threw a ring into my backyard...
