CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I once got one to hang up on me because I kept asking where he got my phone number from.
I also had an instance where the same one called me again about four hours later. He denied having called me previously, but I doubt there are too many Indian technicians called Roger at Microsoft.

They will often use fakes names so they can't be traced back to. Sometimes they will use the same names as co-workers or swap names around. Autodialers will automatically call you again if the goal was not reached and you were not removed from their call list. So, it could have been the same guy or another one using the same fake name.

It’s interesting to learn about but I’m not sure intentionally fasting from food would be good for my personal health right now. Everyone is different, so I guess that’s what got me curious. I’m glad it will help you with your health.It's good for me because of my health, which is difficult to go into detail about on a thread.
I'd encourage you to research intermittent fasting. Some who do it only eat once a day but I have no desire to do anything like that.
I will look up intermittent fasting though.

Really? Good in my case.. man I keep forgetting my birthday is less than two week away.
Birthday's a depressing.. I just have a few years left in my twenties.. early 30s still seem young... but then the next decade is the 40s!

I concur.
We don't want to forget each other's birthdays thanks to no longer having a convenient way to know without having to just commit everyone to memory, right? That'd be a bit of a pain.
