CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Look at the bright side..... you're 28..... before you know it you will be like me...... 38 and soon to be 39 look back at your not wanting to turn 28 and laugh that you wasted time worrying about 28 when 38 arrived so quickly.I don't want to be a 28 year old... it's not fair!!

OMM: ALL DAY I fight not to fall asleep..... the struggle is real...... half dead all day..... looking forward to sleep after having only 4 hours of sleep at best....Friday night....
Time finally comes for sleep...... I get a "power nap" and cant sleep again...... now I must wake up in 4 hours and the choice do I sleep or just stay awake............ Lord sustain me......

Oh, well, it was the year I went through what many call "scrupulosity", although of course I did not know it at the time. The year of 2012 which will always haunt me to a certain degree, but I still firmly believe God meant to bring me through it for a benevolent reason, however horrific the experience itself was.
But there was at least one good part about my late 20's ... or specifically that era at least. It was the first time I ever got the courage to finally ask a girl out. Can't put a price tag on that if you're a guy like me. ^-^

They don't need too.... I know Im too old to be young too young to be old....
Thats what scares me.... how fast time truly goes and it only goes faster and faster.... I am old enough to truly understand what it means that youth is wasted on the young.
Now Im at the age where I feel young enough to do what I did in my 20s.... but I pay for it...the next stage is to think about doing something and I pay for it....... then I dont even need to think about anything..... its gonna hurt.
I used to have energy like crazy...... I would work out every day to exhaustion (except weekends) it isn't good to work out because you need to recover... but I would be sore through the day and wake the next 100% fine.... no soreness.
Now I work out one day Im sore for 5.....

Ah.. still probably have half your life left. Also at least you got to experience the 80s and be a teen in the 90s. I'm jealous of that. Good music, good films, good TV, better atmosphere all around.. wasn't sucked into that rabbit hole of smartphones and internet culture.
