Probiotics are also good for digestive problems-my digestion has been a lot better since I started taking them regularly.
The strange thing is, Dr. Behara never said they were needed definitively. And since I seemed to be doing well enough until a few weeks ago ever since the sickness I had in January, without the pro-biotics, I avoided them, I guess out of a fear that they would possibly return me to the status of that bacterial infection four months ago. Just ... introducing more bacteria to my system when it was an over-abundance of it that crippled me the first time. I know there is a difference here, though, between the "bad" bacteria of that infection and the "good" bacteria intended in pro-biotic medication, so I understand my fears were not exactly rational.
