  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What's on your mind?

Yesterday at church I learned that CS Lewis wrote a sci-fi book series set in space called the Space Trilogy. I find it interesting he wrote in a genre that, at least today, is dominated by religious skeptics.

Hey nothing screams atheism more than an empty void of space. Lol.

I would be your worst nightmare.

You aren’t a nightmare. Most don’t open their lives or home to the world. Who would know unless you told them?

Although most of my stuff is quite organised, I often have projects and repair jobs that drag on for days or weeks.

That’s fine. Maybe you need a workshop. :)

Fortunately I live on my own, so it doesn't really matter.

I don’t know. Old habits die hard. Routines are difficult to establish when you’re partnered. I watch people try all time.

I don't even know what Hunter's are. Maybe it's an American thing.

Hunter boots.

Anterior discectomy C5-T1 and vertebral fusion.

I am quite anxious about it.
Then we will definitely pray for your comfort, peace, and protection at this time.:crossrc:

I would be your worst nightmare. Although most of my stuff is quite organised, I often have projects and repair jobs that drag on for days or weeks. For example, I started taking my bike apart last week to do some jobs on it, and it's all still lying around in bits. This evening I spent another hour or so (unintentionally) sniffing glue, as I had decided to try and stick the rubbing strip back down on the tyres I have, rather than buy some new ones. New tyres are £35 each, and the ones I have still have a lot of miles left on the tread, so I thought I might as well try a few pounds worth of glue before splashing £70 on a new pair. I probably need to buy some more glue, so I'm not expecting to finish that job until next weekend.

From that point of view, my place often looks more like a workshop than a home. In fact, right now there's a bicycle inner tube hanging on the nearest door handle. Don't ask me why, that's just where it ended up when I was working on the bike. Fortunately I live on my own, so it doesn't really matter.

I just arrange stuff so that I know what has to be used first. That's all.

Yea me too, I don’t have home I have workshop! I would call it as a studio but studio would be nice and neat and this is far from it.

Suiting up for a 9 mile run. This morning I saw some disappointing news of a relative by marriage filing for divorce. And they posted it on social media. So many made comments supporting his decision. So sad the society that we live in. Posting the day of that you filed a divorce just doesn't seem like right etiquette or respectful to all parties involved. I'm sure it was a long marriage since they are probably in their late 50s or early 60s.

No really, I've been in the sun all day, my mind's fermented right now...

Me no comprende...

Je parle français c'est dans mon sang. Comprendre?

Spoiled girls make spoiled wives. Capiche?

You need a shared definition and agreeable limits to prevent things from going off the rails.
