Since I'm technically unemployed again, I'm thinking about all the people who have made me feel bad about it every time I have been without a job in the past. Some encouragement and support would have been nice.

Often people care and start worrying for you when job opportunities don’t go the way we hope. I completely understand it not being helpful though.
Just remember that most people change jobs quite a few times in life. So don’t be discouraged, keep looking and getting out there. The right opportunity will come your way!
