I'll definitely try to attend if you do stream again soon.

If I stream myself, it may a game like Portal, Age of Empires or modded Minecraft, which my computer can handle along with the streaming software. If I can get my own game far enough along, I could stream that as well.

I'd love to see you there. ^-^ I'll make a post whenever I'm ready to start.

You could stream the game you're making? I would love to see that! Or maybe some of your modded Minecraft. I remember I wasn't able to watch last time, so it would be great to be able to attend.

This is so true. I don't believe in soulmates, or "The One", or "Mr. Right", or whatever you want to call it.

I paid a heavy price for my faith. If you haven’t forsaken the one you loved (who loved you in return) for Him you haven’t risked much. That’s when you know where you stand.

I used to believe that. But I was wrong. He cares about the work and my sanctification. The ‘One’ can be several.

We can agree to disagree here, but I do value your insight.

I've been open to whoever God brings into my life, especially in regards to sanctification. But at the same time strongly believe in the concept of having a soulmate (similar to the connection between Adam and Eve), and have reserved my heart for the one woman He decides to unveil at the right time. The fact that God withheld other possibilities from me over the years is the main factor that contributed to this mentality. The connection between Adam and his soulmate was so fierce and powerful that it's believed he ate the forbidden fruit on purpose knowing he would die, so that he wouldn't be parted from his wife. That's the connection I wanted (except without the whole "getting on God's bad side" and death ).

When God does finally reveal her to me, you can rest assured she'll be treated with the utmost dignity, unconditional love, honor and respect, from a real man of God who waited for her and will not take such a blessing lightly, leading her accordingly. Sadly, I guess most women don't want that unfortunately.

I am happy. I'm content in ways I have never been before. But, I'm not assuming it can't get better.

There is no possibility of a healthy relationship without risk and sacrifice. I do know that.

I get what you mean. The one a person marries is necessarily "The One". That's scriptural. Genesis 2:24 I just don't believe God is holding back someone special for each single person.

Edited to say that I think there ARE cases in the Bible where God did have someone special put aside for a character, but they are very, very exceptional cases. Almost miraculous. An example would be Isaac and Rebecca, or Rigatoni's example of Adam and Eve.

I didn't realize what a blessing it is to be content in singleness till I started posting here. It does get lonely being endlessly single, but I don't ache for a significant other. I'm happy by myself as well.
