  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What's on your mind?

That's a good feature to have. They pretty much stay for life too. Unless you're like 110 and your face is seriously sagging.. lol.

That's largely related to genes. Skincare and diet matters too. As does lifestyle. But for the most part, aging rests on your DNA. I don't have wrinkles, lines, or crows feet. I study my relatives for the 411. I know what to expect. *lol*

Although for men hunter eyes are more attractive. Sadly I just have regular eye shape. Even though on my father's side they tend to have more squinty eyes. Dark hair too.. and more Asian neotenous body shapes.. lol.

Squinty with the nose would require intervention. You can't leave things that way. :D

I like dark hair with blue eyes. Especially the piercing type. Yes to hunter eyes. Mercy. I wanted to say no but I can't.

That's good to hear. My mother is almost 60 but she can easily pass as a 40 something. I don't think she really has any wrinkles. She also new wears makeup either.

They have pretty small button noses (pretty neotenous features overall). I take more of my looks from my mother's side.. although even then.. my nose is more prominent compared to that side.

Lol.. at least I have the dark hair covered. Guess I can squint for the rest of my life.. lol.

Yeah, I'd never get it. Just sometimes I fantasize. Do you think roman noses can look alright? I know for men the less neotenous noses suit them at least somewhat better.

You're asking the wrong person. *lol* I like men with soft features and symmetrical faces. Ruggedness isn't my thing. Clean shaven, slender cut, etc.

Prominent noses require the right cut, attire, and color scheme. You want to deflect attention from that area. Some add facial hair but it depends on the size of the face.

I wear makeup but not a lot. Great skin is an asset. I like to show it.

How do you look in black? I'd imagine good given your hair and eyes.

Plastic surgery was always popular. But it wasn't a subject people discussed. You had work done and kept quiet. We weren't interacting with personalities on a daily basis. Social media changed that. Live videos with in-process or before and after demonstrations opened the flood gates. The dramatic look was born.

Reconstruction and makeup are very popular. Fashionistas rule. The jet setter lifestyle is desirable. There's a segment of society clamoring to have the same. They want the look, attire, experiences, etc. The glamorous life.

If you have the means for plastic surgery you know what you'll tweak. You space out the procedures. Some are more important than others. And you have touch ups too.
That is another part of it, the touch ups. From what I've heard Botox requires you use more and more of it to attain the same results. I wish people could be happier as they were born. But the media creates a lot of insecurities.

Soft features?

I wouldn't say I have an overly masculine looking face. I've been told I have a decent jawline. I feel my nose is well proportioned to my face. I just wish the side profile was a bit straighter. My nose is long but it's quite thin with a ball point for my nostril area. Although far away it might look goofy. I've always liked ancient roman sculpture. The nose looks more prominent and stern. I've always thought I looked more southern european than northern, although I've read roman noses can be quite common with the English.

I wear makeup but not a lot. Great skin is an asset. I like to show it.

That's good.. I hear makeup clogs the pores and can age you in the long run.

I can't imagine you with a button nose!

I think it's impossible with my face shape. Lol.

I don't know.. I don't really wear black. I like wearing white honestly.

That area of the face doesn't move. And they get a weird shine too.

The media can't "make" anyone insecure no more than a magazine or social media feed. The person reacting to things they see and hear are responding to psychological issues within themselves. The topic triggers them. But it didn't cause the problem.

Self-esteem is developed in childhood. Negative experiences can have an adverse effect. We compensate our discomfort through many avenues. Counseling and healing are ideal. But that's painful. Covering it through clothes, surgery, etc. is easier.

No one remains as they are. Some adjust their appearance, income, physique, and so on. All to be better. The concept differs for everyone. But they're all improvements.

A heart or oval shape is more appealing. It draws you to the eyes and mouth. When they're symmetrical the face is anchored and balanced.

It's more than the face. What he emits is most important. He communicates masculinity in his bearing.

That's good.. I hear makeup clogs the pores and can age you in the long run.

We have better brands now. I like vegan and cruelty free products.

I love white. I look great in black but white is my favorite. It looks elegant.

I have no idea what my face shape is, lol.

Still.. I cannot see how adding a layer of coating to the skin won't hurt the pores.

I like white because I think it contrasts good with my skin and makes it appear more tanned.

Makeup requires great skincare. I like Japanese and Korean techniques. The quality of your products makes a difference. As do treatments. Like facials, peels, etc.

In my opinion, the first thing a woman should focus on improving is her diet, movement, and skincare. That has greater benefits than anything else.

I like white because I think it contrasts good with my skin and makes it appear more tanned.

I don't like it for the tanning effect. *lol*

I love the contrast and femininity.

Given that site.. I'd say I'm more closer to an oval shape.

Yeah, you're a woman. Lighter skin often means a more feminine appearance. As for guys.. wearing black.. especially if you're white just makes one look like a ghost.. lol. Always hated the goth aesthetic.

I feel bad for the Oblong face shapes. There is a Youtuber nammed Styxhexenhammer who has a very narrow face. Although to his credit his owns it and rocks it in a way.

That depends on your appearance. Some colors are more attractive than others based on your features. Dark haired men who fall on the winter spectrum of color profiles will always look best in hues that play up their contrast.

I don't like goths. But a black cashmere sweater on a man with dark hair and milky skin is a thing of beauty. Add in the eyes and my word.

Oblong is hard. Whether you're talking the face or body type. It looks uninteresting.

But an hourglass? Oh yeah. Smoking hot.

Yeah, my face naturally has a lot of body fat. I'd probably be more in the squarish category if not for that. I'll say my mandible looks more parallel to the ground than that site shows for the side profile of an oval face shaped man.

Fat is good. It helps when you age. You'll look younger and more lush.

Yeah, that's probably why my mother ages well. Although I wouldn't mind losing some fat around my jawline, even though I think it looks decent considering the circumstances. I do hate how my face looks in photos. Because the fat can easily wash out my features and I end up looking like some bland ball of goo, lol.

What is a winter spectrum?

This is winter. If you work with a personal stylist or image consultant determining your season is part of the process of building a custom look.

What distinguishes winters from other seasons is the contrast.
