  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What's on your mind?

Nope.. you fight mechanical animals as far as I can tell. It's a game about a post modern civilization world. Nature has reclaimed the earth but robotic huge animals still roam the planet. Interesting premise.

Reminds me a little of the Shannara books, where they had went back (after advanced weaponry destroyed the world) to magic and a medieval type of living. There were still some remaining mechanoids that had to be dealt with.

So this game is a cheap knock of that story? Lol.

@sampa ,

Also, what do the A's stand for?

I keep getting the A along with the four other letters.

Is it "assertive"? I've been looking, but can't seem to find it. Thank you.

Aha, who knows...it all comes from the same source, right...maybe the authors just tapped into the same stream.

The waters belong to no one...they are there to quench the living's thirst.

This girl sure does have Neanderthal like features.. lol.

Yeah, in The Four Lands (Terry Brooks), the elves had always existed though people didn't know them as such...they just kind of blended in and the dwarves were those people who had fled underground when the world was destroyed, like, they kinda evolved/adapted.

"The Sword of Shannara's events take place 2000 years[2] after the "Great Wars": a nuclear holocaust that has wiped out most of the planet. These wars rearranged the planet's geography and wiped out most human life on Earth. Only traces of technological artifacts have been found; most advanced technology has been lost, but magic has been rediscovered. During this time, Mankind mutated into several distinct races: Men, Dwarves, Gnomes and Trolls, all named after creatures from "age-old" myths. Also, the Elves begin to emerge after having been in seclusion and hiding for centuries."
The Sword of Shannara - Wikipedia

Awesome books! I remember just eating them up when I was about 12 or 13.

I hear there was a T.V. series out, I'll have to check it out, but my expectations are low...nothing beats the visions that projected within my young mind...as those words first pierced these eyes...

This game world doesn't seem to have any magic. At least it's somewhat different.. lol.

Do you play video games?

No, this is all I do online. This, Youtube, and now I'm learning DAW software. I haven't the time, my friend...I got (get) to write a book too!

That's the KKW affect. She popularized the procedure. If you're going that route, contouring is better. Don't add to it.

Full lips weren't always a thing. Large eyes and a full mouth express femininity and enhance symmetry. The pair looks best on oval faces. Lip injections are popular with square and oblong faces. The bone structure is sharper than a oval or heart. Plump lips soften their look.

Look at the difference between Taylor and Angelina. Taylor has a lot of yin which creates softness. She doesn't need to plump. Angelina has more yang.

Yeah the Kardashians have done a lot to popularize plastic surgery. It's sad to think of people dying young, like Joselyn Cano who passed at 30, because they were insecure about their body and/or wanted the social status and money gained by fitting a certain image.

I see what you're saying with the pics. You have a good way with wording things. I don't know how dangerous lip injections are but it seems like a "gateway surgery" that one might start with and then they keep going on to more major procedures.

I still haven't dealt with the slow cooker. I've been knee deep in spices. My eyes were crossing! I have a shopping bag full of packages. I put the spice jar project on the back burner. Now I'm kicking myself. I had to make a second inventory chart and go through everything. The first one was confusing.

The cart timed out. I had to go through the site a second time. Now the coupon won't work. We can't shop in person. For the love! A call and support email later its done. :wet:

Plastic surgery was always popular. But it wasn't a subject people discussed. You had work done and kept quiet. We weren't interacting with personalities on a daily basis. Social media changed that. Live videos with in-process or before and after demonstrations opened the flood gates. The dramatic look was born.

Reconstruction and makeup are very popular. Fashionistas rule. The jet setter lifestyle is desirable. There's a segment of society clamoring to have the same. They want the look, attire, experiences, etc. The glamorous life.

I see what you're saying with the pics. You have a good way with wording things. I don't know how dangerous lip injections are but it seems like a "gateway surgery" that one might start with and then they keep going on to more major procedures.

If you have the means for plastic surgery you know what you'll tweak. You space out the procedures. Some are more important than others. And you have touch ups too.

I especially agree with the eyes. Probably the most neotenous part of a female's face.

Sometimes I'm tempted to get plastic surgery on my nose. Although I've heard a few women find roman style noses manly, lol. Still, sometimes I wish it was a little smaller.

Yeah, I discovered it at 16. A friend in her 20s told me I had bedroom eyes. I said, what? She grabbed a mirror and had someone hold it while she moved my head and manipulated my hair. I started posing and didn't smile. She said, that's it. That's the one. And the stare was born. :p

I think large eyes are attractive. But there's a sweet spot. Too big and they look scary!

Nose jobs transform the face. You get a lot of bang for your buck. Assuming they don't screw it up. *lol*

That's a good feature to have. They pretty much stay for life too. Unless you're like 110 and your face is seriously sagging.. lol.

Although for men hunter eyes are more attractive. Sadly I just have regular eye shape. Even though on my father's side they tend to have more squinty eyes. Dark hair too.. and more Asian neotenous body shapes.. lol.

Yeah, I'd never get it. Just sometimes I fantasize. Do you think roman noses can look alright? I know for men the less neotenous noses suit them at least somewhat better.
