I got word yesterday morning that a close family member had suffered a significant heart attack, and is being looked after in intensive care. He's doing okay today, but they're going to attempt shock treatment tomorrow, to get his heart and blood pressure back where it's supposed to be.

The situation is weighing heavily on the whole family, and is quite concerning. Prayers for the treatment tomorrow to be successful - and for a fully recovery (without complications) - would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not afraid of judgement or being scrutinized.. it's just I'm naturally open about talking about my emotions but I'm now of the mindset that maybe it's best to keep shut about them.
