Everyone, I apologize for not being very knightess-like these last few days. I let something that's been bothering me for months really get to me, and I let my old self who held grudges and spoke without thinking come back. I hope you can forgive me and we can still be friends. I will try to do better again, and I hope everything will be back to normal ASAP.

You're doing your best Multis, that's what is important. I do see progress being made lately, and would recommend to not only forgive those who hurt you, but to forgive yourself as well - it's not always easy. We all stumble at times, that's kinda inevitable lol. But, I doubt anyone is upset with you; we all want to see you happy and continuing to succeed. You're still our friend and little sister, no worries.

Hey, as your mirror (just of the opposite gender ) in the knight business, I can pretty much admit the same mistakes, Multi. I still pray for your peace and improvement of character where you see flaws and want to do better; certainly none of us hold a grudge against you, just as I hope that no one here holds a grudge against me for getting all crazy the other night and up in people's faces because I got triggered by a particular incident.

Stay sweet, Multi. Everything will be all right in the end.

I think there should be a law against that. Raising the rent on someone in the middle of a lease. It just doesn't seem right.


I remember once several years ago when my homeboy Lantis lived in a particularly low-income apartment community, barely affordable by those living on minimum wage, and about as classless as you can get without it being a straight-up crackhouse or something. At one point he mentioned when minimum wage rose up to - what was it, from 5-something to 7 dollars? - and the landlord at his place promptly raised the rent by 100 a month. That's just messed up. I remember the way Lantis said it, he was like, "So the poor, people already living around the poverty line, finally get a small break with the increase in minimum wage and the people who collect rent from them say, 'You know what? I want that money. .... *snaps fingers* It's mine, now.' "

And I agreed with him. Getting just to 7 dollars an hour even ten or so years ago doesn't exactly raise you from low to middle class status. It was the least we could do for those who have to work and struggle more.

yeah , it sucks, and it keeps increasing last year it went up by $100 too. I can't keep up anymore, but i dont want to move out because this place is safe and close to my workplace. Idk if i should just buy a house, but i dont like the idea of having a huge loan. why is adulting sooo hard sk???? why????!!!!! *hyperventilating

Thank you guys. I'm so glad you aren't mad at me, I just felt bad about some things I've said and sometimes it can take a while to get over things.

You're all awesome, really. There is much good here at CF. Forgiving and being forgiven makes me feel much better.
