k sounds good. I can manage 1.5k, gonna save up a bit lol maybe wait till black friday or cyber monday. What model do you recommend and where is best place to buy?

Best value for money is buying the parts and building it yourself. Pre-built usually cost a fair bit more than their parts.

Do you have any friends or family that know how to build a PC from parts?

It's daunting at first but it is basically adult Lego, just a lot more expensive haha

computer monitors are usually superior to tvs. unless they started making tvs different than how tvs usually function.

That's a good one! Lol I was looking at that earlier today, it got good reviews, plus Dell is always sturdy and well built. The quote I got I think is from the same series
I would recommend it. Served me quite well.

Been tempted to buy a switch.. I'm not the biggest gamer in the world, and I prefer handhelds.. although does a Switch need a TV? Or can I just charge it in a regular power outlet?

The new Castle Wolfenstein game looks pretty good for Switch specs.

I'm not sure about the U.S. but I imagine there are places where you can buy the parts and them assemble it, just be prepared that labour costs aren't necessarily cheap.

Newegg may offer that service. I'd be surprised if they didn't.

Really? Do you own a 3DS? Cause if you do, you should definitely get it. Been playing the time-trails lately.. I like how it ranks you against others in the world. Not sure if the DS one had that, I used to play that all the time too.. remember that being the first online Mario Kart game too. Then if you want to really go back, the first Mario Kart game I played excessively was Double Dash.

I was so good at Mario Kart. Remember we had a school wide competition. I didn't even sign up, but just joined all of a sudden. No one took me seriously (I was just a shy quiet kid..), until I pretty much won every race by a large margin. Lol.

I bidded for one (3ds) in ebay but lost the bid and didn't try again. I tried emulators though but not on mario kart. Dude, now I'm wanting a switch. Maybe I can have both? A comp and a switch? but it's too much!!! the expensation! I hear Dave Ramsey scolding me in my subconscious.

I'd just buy a switch now, if you're worried about the cost.. the games should keep you occupied for a while.
