Video games were like that too. It’s much more even amongst the sexes now. When I was growing up, it was almost exclusively a boy thing - & a nerdy boy thing at that. Now most people past a certain generation play at least once in a while.

I’ve really noticed lately fathers our age who grew up on video games got their daughters into video games.

Not just video games, but nerdy/geeky pursuits in general. These days there plenty of women, but back in the day it was pretty much a boys' club. I've found it very rare to come across a woman my age who's into them.

I read that wrong last night. Sorry about that! What would cause me to be happy would probably be a family of my own and my book getting published so that I can inspire other survivors like myself.

Good for you taking the risk even if you end up backing out. God will see you thru either way. It's a learning how to trust God experience.

I hope you feel better. Have a cup of tea and add a cough drop and sip on it. If you don't have the latter lemon or ginger will suffice. Chicken soup is good as well. The broth will soothe you.

Hey everyone! I hope you're all doing great. Life has been really busy for me! In July I got my Graduate of Theology degree from Liberty and decided to go back this fall for my Bachelor's in Religion with a minor in Christian Counseling, have been serving as a pastoral intern at my church (and soon to be an associate pastor), and got a job as a freelance reporter at a local paper!
