I have an interview for a nightly microbiology lab job in Minneapolis on Tuesday morning! Please pray that it goes well for me whether I land the job or not. And if I do, please pray that I will find meaning and peace with my life in both this job and the new city where I will be living. Other than having only a couple of weeks unofficially training in a micro lab with a previous job from several years ago, which the recruiter assured me that with my varied experience shouldn't be an issue at all, everything about this position so far seems very suitable for me. ^-^

Fortunately the recruiter realized ahead of time that I would be coming from 15 hours away and arranged for me to have the interview virtually, sparing me an extra trip. With this job, I will also only be 15 to 20 minutes away from it every day whether I choose to live in Eden Prairie or Little Canada, MN, as a result, also.

Got this ad in my FB feed just now, about the top ten adult summer camps across the U.S. or something.

The last one on the list was kind of interesting. ^-^ Reminds me of this movie from the 80's called Space Camp that we all had to watch in music class (don't remember why) once when I was in the 6th grade. I remember getting laughs out of both my friends and a nearby group of girls as we watched in the dark this one scene where two of the main characters sneaked away for a date and were making out when their camp supervision followed and caught them, and my 11 year-old reaction was like, "ewww ... French kissing ...."

Everyone, may I request your prayers that the Lord will lead me on a path of peace in this new chapter of my life, with my having left my job and started searching for a new place to live up North. For I have felt a lot of contradictions in my spirit concerning this migration, which of course are hard for me to explain in detail, but I think it boils down to my having been so sure of this calling to start a new life somewhere North at first that I left my very livelihood in order to drive myself into pursuing it, yet now, as of late, I am feeling just as afraid of it as I am excited, now having thoughts of retreating back into the relative security and safety of the job that I left and staying right here in my college town. My fear became more obvious to me when I found a relatively weak excuse to forego two jobs in Eden Prairie now that had contacted me for an interview, getting easily discouraged and worried about a potential obstacle, and I have felt a bit discouraged by at least three other jobs I applied for in that area already having turned me down.

Please pray for me to find the Spirit's guidance and to feel assured in it, no matter where He leads me, even if it does end up being to remain right here, and that I will suffer no feelings of doubt or fear in Him, as I have been doing as of late.


Thankfully while suffering discouragement and doubt of my own doing earlier today and yesterday, I already feel a bit better just typing this out, and have come to terms with the possibility that perhaps Minnesota, in particular Eden Prairie and Little Canada, may simply not be for me after all, and while waiting on the three remaining jobs that I have applied for in those areas, I can now turn my attention to Niagara Falls and Buffalo, NY, which were last on my list of places to consider (in America, anyway). ^-^

So, it just feels a little better having a basic plan of action right now after all of that self-imposed fear and discouragement on my part. Thank you for listening.

I have heard your voice. I will say a prayer. It is hard. God will be w/ you just as he always is so do not fear. He is w/ his sheep during all chapters of their life. He knows what will be best for you in the long-run. You have great courage to do something like wanting to move like this.

Watching the TV movie made based off of an old Judy Blume children's book titled Fudge-a-Mania, that a frequent commenter to my YT channel recommended to me (despite being a Beverly Cleary fan as a child, I was not familiar with Judy Blume's writing at that time). Luckily I found this movie for free at YT, and it provides a comfortable viewing experience while beginning my work search in Niagara Falls this morning. ^-^ Already applied to a sugar refining company, which so far seems more in my particular wheelhouse than the microlab job I eventually turned down before in Minneapolis does.

Judy Blume, I don’t know if I remember her books.

A while back I re-read a lot of Beverly Cleary’s Romanoa books & was surprised at the more-adult lessons the family goes thru. When you’re a kid, you’re more interested in the fun adventures but there’s a lot for older audiences to like too.

Thank you. I've learned so much the last year. I have a lot of very good in-person teachers too. Good fellowship all around. Good rescourses all around. I was missing that. A lot of the important parts my understanding of the Gospel were being missed.

Miss Reese is a waitress I have known at Mule Kick for a couple of years now. Right this moment she is just across the bar singing along with the radio while she pours a Dr. Pepper ... and I am finding this act most adorable.
