Heroine of what? Kindergarten bullying?I decided to bring us another proverb via a cute picture of my favorite heroine, this time a quip from me that ended up becoming the most popular comment I ever made on Youtube ->

I don't regret getting rid of my active Facebook account years ago. I do technically have an account now, but I hardly ever post and I've less than 30 contacts. I only caved and remade the account a year or 2 ago for the messenger portion. I discovered during the period of having no account at all that I really liked being private. It's also nice to not be bombarded with everyone else's opinions as well. I found that Facebook became very political and divisive. It can be hard though to find a good replacement for the messenger portion of Facebook. I like Whatsapp, but not everyone uses that app. Messenger is still one of the easiest ways to group chat and to plan group activities with some others from church. I do have an Instagram account, but I use that to mostly follow artists, special interest pages and to share some of my art as well. I think a lot of stress and negativity can be brought into our lives from using social media (I found that to be the case personally, anyway). I also do find that with forums too. I regularly feel like I need to take breaks from all of it.It was a good birthday. Tired and more celebration this weekend and next.
Had some good conversation with a friend at a brewery after going to a salt cave. Also discovered a new cocktail bar. Everywhere we went everyone was young college aged. She said it's not usually like that but it is a college town. Young girls next to us dressed to the 9s were a bit loud. I had yakisoba and a Tokyo comic mocktail. Also a mocktail at the cocktail place since it's a 49 minute drive.
First year to not be on social media for my birthday and hide my birthday before taking a 6 month break. I'll see in the summer if anyone sent wishes. I was more available for those that text or called. I miss the wishes, but I feel more present without it.

Always? I wouldn't say that to you!People always think I lack faith because of my anxiety. I don't worry because I don't have faith, I worry because I know that God sometimes chooses not to act. Being a believer doesn't mean nothing bad will ever happen to you or you'll be happy all the time.
I would've deleted Facebook a long time ago but agreed, the Messenger on it is invaluable & my best friend & I text primarily that way. I also follow a lot of Christian pages on Facebook. There's a misunderstanding that social media is all negative & secular & rude people & designed to make you upset, but there's some God-fearing people out there & good pages if you're willing to find them. But I have noticed a lot of inappropriate Valentine's Days ads on it lately.I don't regret getting rid of my active Facebook account years ago. Yes on the politics. That change came around 2011-2012.I found that Facebook became very political and divisi
It is!!!! Hence my sister just text me a crying emoji because she missed my birthday but.3 days. Social media cont act as a calendar, news, video chats with my niece and nephew (she's two states away) and updates on what's happening with family and friends. And coworkers. I never would have the strong relationships I've built sinc 2020 without it. My running adventures and gardening has been the main talking point, besides cooking.can be hard though to find a good replacement for the messenger portion of Facebook.
I had an Instagram account that was hacked, once I created a new one. I've not let many people in. It's been my retreat place from the masses. My sister shows photos on there that she doesn't on Facebook.I do have an Instagram account, but I use that to mostly follow artists, special interest pages and to share some of my art as
Yes! Yes! And yes!!!! It's hard initially.regularly feel like I need to take breaks from all of it.
That's great! And great that you stuck with alternatives. Not many people have.I don't regret getting rid of mine either. I deleted it back in 2020. I have no intention of going back.
Interesting perspective. I will start fine Daniel. Fast 3 days after that. And for the lent season I'm giving up caffeine. It's going to be hard.Best distraction is the first day of lent - which incidentally falls on Valentines Day this year.
