On the Christian radio station there’s a speaker coming to talk about is Christainity on the decline in the US?
My thought: That’s the wrong question! You should think about where YOU are & how YOU are influencing your circles! We are concerned about faithful disciples. Pray for big numbers & do your part, but recognize there will always be those who Christ calls, & it is not ours to control.
But to answer their question more looking at the numbers: No, it is not on the decline; the Christians In Name Only (wolves in sheeps clothing) are now no longer hiding it. I think there are also a lot of people like myself who are undercounted just b/c we're not an official member of a church. (churches report members, for example, & non-members are hard to count) & just b/c you don't go to church doesn't mean you're not religious (although it is being unfaithful to God)
