CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Prayer & thanksgiving
Truth:
Thinking must be rooted in the Word of God. Expose yourself
Thinking about others must be characterized by truth. No assumptions
Thinking about my circumstances & future must be characterized by truth & not by fear & anxiety.
Honorable: noble & dignity
Just: fulfilling obligations, doing the right thing, conforming to Jesus, not convenience
Pure: Morally, ethically, words & actions. Also includes sincierty & motives
Lovely: True & genuine beauty
Commendable: admirable
Excellent or praiseworthy: summary statement
Follow the instructions. Daily discipline & repetition

Whenever you feel like you are about to sin, start praying! Praying has helped me so much. Also keeping a Prayer Journal helps too! Also praying for everyone that God made helps too! It helps remind us that we are not alone in our struggle with sin.

Reading The Bible and listening to Christian music also help when you feel you are about to sin. I pray everyone God made stops sinning and loves each other the way Jesus taught.
