My future looks brighter than it has for a while. Seems like many of my mental problems have subsided somewhat and I feel like I have tangible goals I can reach and actually care about.
YAY got a new car today, its so much better than my old car, all the doors work, the petrol door doesn't open, it HAS HEATING lol
Awww ... it's not working. Even though it looks like it does in the preview before hitting Reply.
Well, anyway, @Wayholka, it was a gif of the Guardian from Highlander: The Source doing his "theeeeee quickeniiiiiing!" routine.
The joys of being alone. My bridesmaids are all over the states and they said they can't meet up anywhere or come a day early for a bachelorette, shower, mani/pedi.. Anything. Decided I would just do something small like a brunch and nail appointment with my moh (Sister) the day before rehearsal during which I'd get to wear the silly Bride sash like a Bachelorette party. I know that's a stupid thing to want but I always watched other brides wear it and thought it was so fun.
Sister found out she can't come until midnight on rehearsal day. No Bachelorette of any kind, no shower, no mani pedi with friends.
I'm really excited to marry my best friend, but geez... This has been quite the bittersweet and lonely process.
I've been watching a guy on YouTube who has been incredibly inspiring. He lost over 200 pounds and is very honest about what to expect. I'm thinking about starting a blog/channel to catalog my journey and help motivate others.

His channel is called Obese to Beast. Give him a watch. It's incredibly helpful to see others who have gone through it and learn from their mistakes.I definitely need to try this again.![]()
