YAY got a new car today, its so much better than my old car, all the doors work, the petrol door doesn't open, it HAS HEATING lol

And the doctor phoned they want to see me regarding my blood test, obliviously something came back that isn't right, hopefully now this is the time to figure out what has been wrong with me.

The joys of being alone. My bridesmaids are all over the states and they said they can't meet up anywhere or come a day early for a bachelorette, shower, mani/pedi.. Anything. Decided I would just do something small like a brunch and nail appointment with my moh (Sister) the day before rehearsal during which I'd get to wear the silly Bride sash like a Bachelorette party. I know that's a stupid thing to want but I always watched other brides wear it and thought it was so fun.

Sister found out she can't come until midnight on rehearsal day. No Bachelorette of any kind, no shower, no mani pedi with friends.

I'm really excited to marry my best friend, but geez... This has been quite the bittersweet and lonely process.

That stinks. Being so far away from everyone makes it tough.
Could you have a bridal or wedding shower a week or two before the wedding?

Unfortunately not- everyone said they arent willing/able to come early at all. Not many of my friends are even coming to the wedding.

Definitely a con of both living far away and getting married older. Marriage is no longer exciting to the group so nobody tries to make the day special.

Yep, chocolate is good, too. It's the caffeine content that makes headaches go away.
