  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Really great! I'm looking forward to time off for the holidays. Always a beautiful time of year. I'm missing my grandmother who died last year though, but that's part of being human, I guess. :(

Maybe. I know myself personally I get more depressed the colder it gets, so it might be that too.

(and I realize those two things seemingly contradict each other :D )

I'm enjoying my last night of indulgence and then my entire family is going to start eating healthier and start going to the gym to exercise and lose weight.

Hopefully I'll cut the pop and junk food for sure this time and my walking habits will allow me to lose weight again. I did it before I started binging on pop and I can sure as heck do it again.

I'm okay, hanging in, thinking about doing something crazy, and taking a chance. but I haven't decided.

This place has been quiet. kinda sad.

Seriously though- where do people go on here once they're married? Or do they leave the site?

I'd be bummed to leave the site altogether as there is not much of a faith community where I live so I have to seek that online.
