Well I always have an addiction. Im either a cig smoker or I am excessive with working out. So the last time I quit smoking, I bought the equipment to give in to a healthier addiction.

@Swan7 I finally discovered why I was so frustrated with my Bible study! I was biting off more than I could effectively study on a daily basis. After I started breaking the chapters up, viola! All my frustration disappeared. It felt like one of those "duh" moments.

My brother and his girlfriend had a baby girl, my first niece, am my brother only sister and his girlfriend had none, they are getting her baptised and they have choose her girlfriend friend as godmother I don't know I just feel so hurt by this also her godfather is his friend who is well a party animal and we have 3 other brothers. I know it might sound silly but I don't know I just wanted it so badly.


Does that sound awful

I would have to ask why you feel hurt. Perhaps talking this through with someone will help.

Im sure that his wife probably pushed her friend and its not that he doesn't want you to be a Godmother. It seems as if each of them just picked a friend of theirs.

I mean you have 3 boys, it only makes sense that you know how to raise kids.

Im sorry you are hurting Fire Lady.

You may not be the Godmother, but, I know you will be an awesome aunt and more Favorited more than the Godmother and God father combined

Girlfriend? And her friend is the godmother? just be there for them and the child. They might need a lot of help.

And yes his girlfriend he doesn't believe in marriage or God for that matter.. I don't think she does either
