CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I had my first observation in a school today...it just felt like being back home, like I was where I belong. I definitely made the right choice.

Im feeling better thank you. At least for the moment.... Im about to try new food and see how well my rice cooker works.
Im thinking chicken, rice and ranch beans. The rice cooker is supposed to take care of the chicken and the rice. I'll throw beans on the stove myself.

Well, isn't this a pleasant surprise.
If I dont die from eating my "cooking" then this rice cooker stuff is awesome.
Throw water and rice into bowl, put chicken or something into a smaller vented bowl... push a button down.

Its REALLY good for a first run.
I DID make TOO much rice but.....I knocked out 2 plates of chicken and rice.
Not bad for my first try, that is of course assuming I dont die from it.
