thanks, I appreciate it. My dad seems to be doing better today ,but we haven't talked to the doctor yet, so we don't know what the X-ray will show.

Sounds like your father takes quite the beating from poor health. I'm very sorry for him and you that this has to happen so often. You and your father will both be in my prayers.

Had a family get-together today for Mother's Day, which as a lot of fun. =) Also enjoyed quite an epic meal, featuring both American and Thai cuisine.


I also came up with an idea to make something out of nearby tree branches, in order to get my nephew and niece outside with everyone else (instead of just playing videos games inside, lol). Ended up cutting some wooden cylinders and made a raft that actually floats, which they loved; amazing what fun can be had with something so simple.

It was delicious, we even had bacon-wrapped jalapenos.
It was a lot of fun, although I can't guarantee my larger makeshift rafts will float though.

Some random drawing thoughts:

-I've always thought I wasn't good at drawing humans, but more recently I wonder if that's really true or if it's just that I didn't get enough practice drawing them over the years because I usually prefer to draw animals. I often still have trouble with human proportions and anatomy, though.

-It's nice to look back at how far you've come at drawing. I remember when I was 15 I sometimes wondered what my art would look like when I got into my 20s...well, now I know. I have God and all the people who have helped me in the past to thank for my improvement.

-Why is it that I can't get motivated to do traditional art unless I have music playing in the background? It makes the art take longer to finish lol.

Also, I like your new avatar, @Anthony7! Very nice.
