Well I thought I had all my stuff backed up to Google's 100gb plan but it wasn't.
I have a ton of photos I've been taking, and sending to a friend. Lots of photos from her of food, places, and people. I think I got it all ironed out.
Then for music I'm enjoying some songs from Mercy Me and a few others with a $12 pair of Chinese earbuds I just got that rival $30+ pairs.
( weird note but I like to sample cheaper things from China, and if they're excellent then it may be ordered as a gift later...)
I don't listen to much of anything but a dozen or so praise and worship songs but it's growing slowly. I can get them for free, but I figure I might as well develop a habit of buying the songs or albums on Google Music to support the artists. Seems like my smart phone is definitely becoming increasingly important with business, entertainment, and everything else. Weird.. I've only had one for two years, and now it's turned into this. I am debating on if I should get a larger phone, but then it'll be a "Phablet" which I don't want. My bad vision says I should, but I'm happy with what I have, and yet don't want to get hunch back from not being able to easily see the phone..
Overall since there is nothing to do here in Hawai'i a lot of packages come & go my way for business, or sometimes to play with. Normally it's small purchases, as I'd rather play with some rickety piece of junk I built then refine than just buy it, and not know how it works.
Now it's cheap Arduino/micrcontroller stuff for my DIY PM2.5, PM10, temperature, humidity, and otherwise random "internet of things" data logger with an OLED screen for easily viewing. Our air spikes to 60 to 70 uG/m^3 out here for Pm 2.5, and sometimes twice that for PM10 according to my $45 sensor.. Provided the particle counter which feature an intake fan, laser counting system, serial communication, and particle separator works like the Chinese company says it does. Might even be worth selling the thing. Not sure how accuracy, certification, or etc would sell or be merited.
Ah to keep busy, not feel like a stupid looser, and to somehow realize what I do is seen as good. Ugh. I'm a nerd sometimes, but not usually. I'm a business man but only part time. I'm also a botanist, pyro guy, mechanic, and many other things depending on what I'm doing. Sometimes I work within .003" tolerances, do jewelry work, and etc. Other times it's crude things involving fire, large saws, and other ridiculous yet effective things even if they're total overkill.
I seem to subjectively wear many different hats depending on how I feel and what I have to do.
I find it so annoying since I never want to feel full of myself and whatever little ego I had blew up some time ago. But I am earning decent money for my age, I am educated, and am told I am not bad to look at.. But without many people to be around you end up questioning everything you even though what you're doing is alright, and not a bad deal.
