Lyrics...

"Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)"

You call me out upon the waters
The great unknown where feet may fail
And there I find You in the mystery
In oceans deep
My faith will stand

And I will call upon Your name
And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise
My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours and You are mine

Your grace abounds in deepest waters
Your sovereign hand
Will be my guide
Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me
You've never failed and You won't start now

So I will call upon Your name
And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise
My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours and You are mine

Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters
Wherever You would call me
Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger
In the presence of my Savior
[x6]

I will call upon Your Name
Keep my eyes above the waves
My soul will rest in Your embrace
I am Yours and You are mine

So, my eldest son is 21 years old, and he works for an I.T company, repairing computers, doing Customer Service, and also servicing computers in businesses. He wears business shirt and pants. He messages me today to tell me one of the buttons came off his shirt, and asking if tonite I could please sew it back on. This was the message he sent....

"So, my manly strength popped off another button from my shirt: the top button which has revealed my manly chest hair. To prevent the ladies from swooning all over me too much, can you please re-attach it tonight?"

Bahahahaha!! Gosh I love my kids!! They make me laugh so much sometimes! ^_^

Hahahahahaha! Sounds like something my son (who is 20) would say, well not exactly, but that is hysterical! My older son does get it for sure. He says he is buying me an iphone because my contract is not up and I have given them my upgrades for the past 4 or 5 years. I have an older phone and it's now starting to randomly shut off, but like I said it's old. But I like it because it has a physical keyboard. But I found out that they have wireless keyboards you can attach to your iphone! Had I known that I might have got one sooner. He is buying it used and I said OK that can be my Mother's day and birthday gift and he said no! I will get you something else for that this is just a "just because I love you" gift.

Thank you for saying it sounds like what my other son went thru cuz that's what I've been thinking but it helps to have someone else from the outside see the same thing.

Naaw, thats lovely that he wants to buy you a new phone, and I love that he said he wanted to buy something else that is just a "because I love you" gift! Moments like that are precious hey.

I was just thinking of what I was like as a teen....and maaan, I'm lucky my Mum didnt knock me out! Lol! :D She was pretty placid, and had a long fuse. I only remember getting a few smacks when I was little, but that was about it. But I pushed her buttons sooooo many times, and deliberately. Thought I knew everything, and if she set a curfew, I would arrive home late just to show I was in control. I remember calling her up one day after I had kids, and apologising for the ratbag I had been!

Have to tell you a lil story. I was about 20 years old, and had split up with my boyfriend and a few months later. I had started dating another guy, who was part of our circle of friends. I was still living at home, and some of my friends had come around and were hanging out at my house, which they often did. Anyways, the ex boyfriend came around to our house, and my Mum told him he could come in if he behaved. He had had a couple of drinks. He saw I was sitting in the living room, with my boyfriend, so he proceeded to go to my bedroom. He was carrying on, so my Mum warned him to settle down. He didnt, and then punched a hole in my bedroom door. My Mum walked up to him, socked him one in the jaw, and knocked him to the ground! ^_^ He came around the next day looking VERY sheepish, apologising profusely, with a VERY sore, swollen jaw! :D

Ahhhh...the things we did when we were young! :D

I'm so glad I never crossed your mom, Dory .... what a great story!

I didn't do that, but I remember as a 19 y/o having a GF end the relationship and pining for her for months wanting her back. It finally dawned on me that she really broke up with me because she didn't want me! It then was obvious that if she had continued to be with me when she didn't want to wouldn't have been an enjoyable relationships anyways. Now this is the girl I learned to kiss with. So If I like a woman I'll hang out with her as long as she likes me. But as soon as its over for her, its over for me as well. That say come in my divorce as well. One day my wife who was working on divorcing me asked me when I was going to get with the program. That was the day I stopped wanting to be married to her. I still feel that love for her some days, but rarely have a desire to be with her again.
I'm convinced if we want a good life we find the person(s) who wants to be with us, as well as us with us and then its great fun and very enjoyable.
