This one depends.
Do you mean this in a ''new agey'' kind of way?

Nope.

What is sin?
a ''sidestep'' .....plain disoebedience, just like Adam in the garden.
Is it more of a mystical taint in your opinion?

and yet

The bible defines it as anything that isn't Faith is sin.

Yup.
and as long as you do not do what is shown in those passages, you should be fine :)

Again those are sins and covered by what Jesus did at the cross!

Your denying what Jesus did at the Cross!

John 15:7-11

7Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

8And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

9Of sin, because they believe not on me;

10Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; 11Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

This is the only sin that remains unpaid for, Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Otherwise Jesus whould of said sins and not sin. There only remains one sin that is attributed to man. The sin of unbelief in Jesus which is caused by Blasphemy of the Spirit.

NOpe, youre just denying this

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

(Heb 10:26-29 KJV)
-----------------

For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance;
seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

(Heb 6 KJV)
to no avail, I might add ;)

try typing it a bit bigger.....possible that will make it true this time :)

Jesus said that ''speaking against the Holy Spirit'' was unforgivable.
Why do you all reject the plain words of Jesus Himself?

oh wait.....I know why :)

This is the one sin he was talking about. You will notice that Jesus only said one whouldn't be forgiven. Therefore we must conclude this is it becuase why whould he mention a sin that was paid for in that verse. That whould make no sense at all and defy all logic. Therefore we must conclude that this is BLASPHEMY OF THE SPIRIT.

9Of sin, because they believe not on me;

Sorry but nice try. Again you denying that Jesus paid for all sins but unbelief in him(Blasphemy of the Spirit)

Sorry, but YOU are the one changing what JESUS said the unforgivable sin is :)

There it is, plain as day
And whoever says a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age, or in the coming one.

where is that quote from again? John !6:9 ??

and WHAT does is say IN CONTEXT????

interesting.....talk about pulling something ''out of context'' :wave:

I see nothing about ''unforgivable'' sin there :)

HOw about this one ???

And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
(Mat 12:32 KJV)

and Ill bet if we look and look at the CONTEXT in that passage that someone was SPEAKING at that point :)

care to bet???
