I actually find Galatians 1 to be a chapter incredibly endorsing of the LDS faith and continuing revelation from God.

Only if you misinterpret what Paul said.


Paul received his revelation directly from Jesus not through a seer stone used to translate fictitious golden plates shown to Smith by an imposter or fictitious angel.


I really do not see how you can endorse what Joseph Smith claimed by Galatians 1.

Your information is so good and accurate. I suggest using another link so that you don't end up with extra letters in the text.

For instance, Verse 18 "It is thee baptism for the dead" should read "the baptism for the dead.

I really do not see how you can endorse what Joseph Smith claimed by Galatians 1.

The central focus of LDS epistemology is revelation and asking God directly for revelation. With all due respect, I don't see that in other Christian groups.

It straight up says that in verse 5, something that far too many critics of the church willfully ignore.

Honestly, upon thorough study of both, I don't see a single "contradiction" that stands up to study.

But the reason I find Gal 1 so solidifies my faith is it's stress on going straight to God for confirmation of Truth and not just taking anyone else word for it.

That paper is just a paper. I accept the accepted translation of Matthew 22:30 as genuine and accurate.

You just refuse to admit your doctrine attempts to supersede Christ.
