It would definitely be unhealthy, but would it still today make a person unclean according to Leviticus 15?

In that state, would you still be able to legitimately remove your tithe?

...neither have I removed any of it while I was unclean Deuteronomy 26:14

So you would go amongst people in fellowship and to church in that condition spreading whatever contagion might be harboring due to
not doing as the Lord deemed?

not sure why that is coming up in your post
I'm bringing it up now because you replied to a post of mine from Jul 11, 2023

have you considered posting on the topic of the thread?
I believe it was on topic at the time

But it was 19 months ago, so I'm not sure what the train of thought was at that time

No, that would be unhealthy

I would probably also use alcohol-based products in addition to the water

Would you say that a person in that state today would still be unclean until evening, as Leviticus says?

Heb 4:8-9 presents another Sabbath rest for the people of God, the NT Sabbath rest--from one's own work to save and in Christ's work which saves.
1. There is no such thing as "Salvation by works in the OT" as the Gospel that then gets replaced by another gospel in Heb 4. In fact Gal 1 specifically rejects the two-gospel model. And Gal 3:8 specifically teaches the ONE gospel is preached OT "to Abraham"

2. "Every Sabbath" in Acts 18:4 is not a reference to a bunch of "every day Sabbaths" in the synagogues.

soldier of light said:

Have a nice day. I'm resting from evil and so joyful doing it

Nice but I think we all agree that in Gen 2:1-3 -- Adam was not "resting from evil" on his first full day of life - his first Sabbath.

Which has nothing to do with the 4th commandment

Sabbath has meaning as a day of rest even in the sinless environment of Eden according to the Bible.

No more so than abolishment of the Levitical ceremonial laws contradicts Leviticus.
An animal sacrifice pointing to the death of Christ -- that ends (as Heb 10 pints out) when Christ dies on the cross --- is not being "contradicted".

But both Sunday keeping scholars and Sabbath keeping ones - affirm the fact that the TEN - all TEN are included in the moral law of God. Where they argue is whether it is ok to edit the Law of God in the case of the Sabbath commandment.

That is very different from a shadow animal sacrifice ending at the death of Christ.

Where do suppose David was after he died? Was he nicely snoozing in his grave?
John 11 "Lazarus sleeps - I go that I may wake him"

1 Thess 4:13-18
13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as indeed the rest of mankind do, who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose from the dead, so also God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep through Jesus. 15 For we say this to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who remain, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore, comfort one another with these words.

The apostles, including Paul, regularly attended Sabbath services in synagogues to preach and teach. For instance, in Acts 13:14, Paul and his companions went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day ...
Good point.

Acts 13 is also interesting because the gentiles wait for all the Jews to leave the synagogue on that Sabbath -- then they ask Paul for "more Gospel preaching" to be scheduled for them "The next Sabbath". And on the "next Sabbath' almost the entire town shows up for that gospel message.
