How do you see the 'flesh'? Do you see the flesh as the devil?

We both know very well that is a "gnostic" view, and as such, heretical.

The flesh including the mind has been made "subject to" anti-spiritual influences scripturally speaking and that "fact" is far beyond scriptural dispute, yet very seldom factored into sound doctrines.

The flesh therefore is not to be trusted, "because of" what it is subject to. This moves the view OFF the flesh (we are to know no man after the flesh in any case) and ONTO that which the flesh is "subject to."

I just wanted to clarify what you meant, because your post is very unclear and makes no reference to the weak flesh of man, especially for those young in the faith...

And this work He has begun and is doing NOW, through the purging of His Fire to bring forth gold. He has given us the opportunity to work alongside Him in this lifetime as we commit ourselves to Him for judgment..

Were mankind the ONLY party involved I could certainly agree, but from a scriptural standpoint there are far more players in mankind than just mankind.

Any understanding not factoring the other parties will be logically FAULTED and will FALSELY portend ONLY mankind.

Such understandings are without merit.

The tongue is "a world of iniquity" and is "set on fire of hell". It holds the power of life AND DEATH.

In the parable of Lazarus and the rich man the rich man dies and is buried and finds himself in "hell" being "in torments". What was it that he wanted COOLED? (<----hint )

As I also believe I know WHY she asked the question that she did and that is because MANY of the things that you say "seem" to be in agreement with the way that I and others view THE FLESH, though you see them in relation to little "devils" who live "in" the flesh.

So you "divide" between SATAN and MAN while we "divide" between THE FLESH and THE SPIRIT.

So "to you" we are "accusing our fellow man" (and the "offspring of God") when the truth is that we accuse THE FLESH and that which is CARNAL/NATURAL/EARTHY (that which is not spirit and not spiritual).

Flesh is not "God's offspring".
