Native Canadian (Cree) Scottish French My parents are both Cree's and my mom has Scottish and French in her family. Which they would also call Metis in Canada. Explains my light skin and few freckles around my eyes.
I always wonder how recently your ancestors have to of been from a certain area for it to count, for example as my parents were born in England that's what I consider myself, English. The fact that my paternal grandparents came over from Schwedt and the maternal from Mayo doesn't really come into it.
edit:
Which seemingly means i'm of German-Irish descent XD
I am mixed with scotch-Irish, French, German and Native American and Im not sure what else my grandmother is very big into... O what do you call it? Geneology?
I'm just about completely German (Bavaria, Germany), but with a slight bit of English on my mom's side. On my dad's side, I'm 1/16 Cherokee Indian with a tad of Irish (bad combination, trust me. Lol!).
My family name is Scottish, to my knowledge we have from both sides of the family Scottish, Irish, Norwegian, English, French and German. Of course like most people we only know back to possibly the early medieval age at best not to mention being American who knows what nationalities fell into the stew.
