Today was great! I did something in one fell swoop. I'm not trying to brag, I'm just excited because previously it's always taken me at least two fell swoops to do anything, because the first swoop was never fell enough.

So yeah, it was a red letter day, which I'm going to say because I also don't know what means.

Apparently, once upon a time it was the custom for calendars to have holidays (or church feast days) marked in red ink. Hence, "red letter day."

But congratulations on the successful fell swooping!

Capitalism.

Is it good or bad?
History has shown it is fine as long as (unlike now) the wealth is shared. Think back 60-70 years when small towns thrived because small businesses were allowed to thrive, unlike later when corporatism took all that away. Today they and the polulations are allbut gone, squeezed into an incorporated prison

Well I would be going out of my depth to try and discuss these matters.

However one can wonder what the driving force behind a sertain system is.

So far I can only think the driving force behind capitalism is greed.

Charity is sharing, not making more money by loaning money.

There are creepholes in most laws, so instead of taking interest on a loan,

"I will lend you x sum of money to help you get started and when it starts going with gain,
you give me 12%."

Shareholders.

We all have to make a living
but there have been times when Jews were not allowed to practice a profession or trade.

A Jew is not permitted to lend another Jew at interest nor is a Jew permitted to take a loan from another Jew at interest.

Where I live (house) we have a get together usually once a week,

this time around one woman said that Sweden has the highest private loan debt,

not sure if she said in Europe or the world.

Thinking back it was defintely not so, in fact it was difficult to get a private loan

But something happened somewhere along the line, it became easy to loan money for anything but often at high rate of interest,

So people got what they wanted
but the novelty wore off quickly when they ended up paying much more, due to high interest rates,
in the beginning mostly through private loan firms.

Today wasn't the best day mentally for me. I mean.. worse mentally than it usually is.. lol.
Take a break, buy a ticket to Bahamas for a week.

Swing in a hammock, Bermuda shorts, straw hat, sunglasses and sip on a cocktail through a straw.

I can't do that. Especially after this Christmas break. Missed so many days due to snow too.

Don't get me wrong though.. you suggestions sounds nice and mighty tempting. Lol.

That I may have made a big mistake. Have just ordered what I'd need for the knife sheath project. I'm telling myself most is start-up cost, the only short-term consumable is the leather, and I took the cheap route on tools, yet I'm still shocked.

Yes, I checked with my wife first.

I been thinking about that guy John Cage. I wonder if he's the richest guy in history. He wrote that song 4'33". Does he get royalties from that? Like, does he get a check in the mail every time there's ambient sound in a room somewhere?

What if while someone dreams, their crops/ income fails because they did not see to it ?
It's not dreaming that's the problem there, it's what wasn't done. We need to be able both to dream, and to do the practical work of making dreams a reality.

It's hot. It's very very hot. I'm glad I'm on leave and can laze around for a few more days!

Yes daydreaming can be both costly and painful.

Split hooves, two worlds this world and the world to come.

More a yearning for home
we are not there yet.

(not Bahamas, been there, x2)
