Last night I finished CS Lewis' The Abolition of Man and have started Quantum Physics and Theology: An Unexpected Kinship by John Polkinghorne.

I had not heard of Polkinghorne before yesterday. I learned of him here on CF when he was mentioned on a thread on the Scripture,Tradition,Reason-Anglican & Old Catholic forum. I looked him up and read an article by him that I downloaded from the web. I found the article interesting enough to purchase this little book via my Kindle.

I'm reading some fiction, Split Image by Robert Parker and Misquoting Jesus by Bart Ehrman and some non-fiction...... When God Prayed by Don Wilton & started a book my Pastor friend gave me yesterday, The Expositors Bible Commentary vol.1 (Gaebelein).

A guy at church approached me in the parking lot on Sunday and gave me this book to read. I have never heard of the author and the book looks a little far fetched. Have any of you read it?

Twelve by Jasper Kent. Set in 1812 Russia with Napoleon taking Moscow...it's a historical novel but it has vampires. Good read with lots of historical detail.

I started listening to an audio book today while cooking soup titled The Master and the Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov.

The Big problem with calvinism is it makes God the author of sin.

Not that I acknowledge that statement as true...so what? What's the problem with that?

The Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Romans, otherwise known as The Christian Manifesto and also The Constitution of Christianity.

I never get enough of the book of Romans.
