What If His People Prayed?

Pray for me, if you will? In short, I've pretty much been either an outsider or out on the margins of pretty much any social circle I've been in (or near) over the last few years. To say the least, it's very discouraging, more than disheartening, and incredibly isolated.
And please don't give me that Christianese about how God just "wants me for Himself."
That will not fly.

Praying for you! I've experienced much of the same thing and it can be very discouraging. I'm shocked that there is Christianese about this- actually I can believe it; I just can't think of anything more anti Christ than telling someone who is struggling with this some stupid answer about how God wants you to be an island and not have any friends. I'll pray that God will bring people into your life that you really connect with and with whom you can have great uplifting friendships with.

I have a buddy who I used to work with that just retired. He moved to Florida. He sent me an email requesting that I and others pray for some health tests he has coming up. It's a two day event (the tests) Please pray that the doctors will give him a clean bill of health. His name is Steve.

I put my bank cards in a safe place and can't remember where that is! I need to find them by Monday because I have no money on me and need to buy a birthday present. Please pray that I will find them.

I would rather not on a public forum but I can talk via private messages on here about it. I hope it is nothing serious and that I am just making a big deal but this has been going on for a while now and is getting worse.

Luckily, I haven't heard that chestnut in awhile, but you wouldn't believe how often it pops up on Christian encouragement websites.
Thanks a lot for praying. Sometimes I don't know if there really are people I can connect with and have great uplifting friendships with, but if they do exist, I hope God brings them along soon.
