Christians are not to take life in the name of a secular nation, nor even for their own God.

I disagree. If we are to be obedient to our government and our nation is threatened, I don't see how the Christian can avoid taking up arms to defend it.

OT laws in reference to the nation of Israel have no validity. America is not a theocracy, and neither is any other country.

I agree, which is why it is all the more confusing that you would try to hold it to a religious standard.

When "Christians" killed "Christians" in previous wars, such as WWI and WWII, was the Spirit of God leading them as individuals to do that?

I'm not in the habit of presumptuously speaking on behalf of the Spirit of God. I will leave that to you.

Where is your citizenship as a Christian?

I'm in the same boat that the Apostle Paul was. Remember that he said that his citizenship was in Heaven, but he also acknowledged that his Earthly citizenship was that of a Roman and, as such, put himself under submission to Roman authority.

In the same way, while my eternal citizenship is of Heaven, my Earthly citizenship is as an American and, as such, I am under submission to the authority vested in my government by my God

In addition, because I believe liberty and the right of man to be free of oppression to be a gift of God, I would fight for those things if it were to become necessary.

So, you have no problem killing/murdering another Christian from another country in the name of the President?

In the name of the president? No.

In the name of protecting my country, our allies and our interests against any threat to our liberty, safety or well being? Absolutely.

No, I don't regard either in any particular order, since I don't believe they are at odds with one another.
If a man strike you on the cheek, turn and let him hit the other.

no conflict with killing in the name of freedom?

In the context that Jesus made that statement, I agree with it wholeheartedly.

Remember, though, that Jesus was speaking specifically to His disciples about facing persecution for the sake of the Gospel. He was not speaking about defending your nation, the government of which you are called to be in submission to, against agents of an attacking nation.

hm? it also says to obey God rather than men. I will not kill for the sake of telling they're compatriots that they're way is wrong. Hear of the Spanish Inquisition? I will say that that was not of God...
