It's funny how things like this seem so far away until it hits you personally.
A friend of mine was flying in to town for a wedding (his wife's friend was getting married). I just found out (a few hours ago) that, he is not flying in, his sister was killed in Vegas.
Another friend of mine was signing a $50k business deal from an investor he secured, the investor's brother got shot and is in critical condition so that deal is postponed until further notice.
that's all. No argument to be made. Just a blip on the data radar...
these things actually do impact and effect us... I bet that if you dug deep enough, many of us are 2 or 3 degrees of separation from this Vegas incident...
Amazing you wrote this...the same thoughts were running through my mind just before I opened your post.
Perhaps when a critical mass of people in your country have experienced the aftermath of one of these massacres, then maybe, just maybe, something significant will change...
