Thankful for a microwave so I can have hot homemade soup on a chilly morning.

I'm thankful for music that is uplifting and worshipful, for music that provokes thought, and for music that just makes me smile and feel like dancing. I'm thankful for poetry classes, for never say never, for laughter and for paper snowflakes. I'm thankful for books that make me think, for professors that expand my horizon of thought, and for wordplay that keeps me on my toes. For gentle criticism that helps me grow, for the beautiful hands of people that I don't know, for the ability to read music and learn new compositions. And I'm thankful for quiet days that can be spent enjoyably.

So thankful God kicked me in the behind and dragged me out of my house and to my son's TKD class tonight. It would've been such a shame to miss sharing in his proud moment of getting his stripes.

I'm thankful for my husband. I wouldn't have my dogs, or my big yard, or those yummy crackers and cheese and summer sausage I just ate, without him.

I'm thankful for Wendy for her sweetness!, for all my beautiful friends on CF and in real life, for the existance of miracles, for quiet moments with God, for icy mornings when it's a blessing to wake up and be warm. I'm thankful for new material to learn, for cuddles when I'm feeling depressed, for warm sunlight on my face, for softly spoken words of comfort. I'm thankful for strawberry white tea, for people who listen even if they can't understand, for those who can empathise. I'm thankful for dark stormy nights as well as crisp cold starry nights, for understandable textbooks, for books that lighten my mood, and for unbelievably good pumpkin muffins. And I'm thankful for my wonderful significant other and for my heavenly Daddy, for without him and Him, I would be dead.

God saved me from my own carelessness yesterday evening. I was making dinner and not paying attention to what I was doing and about cut myself good. So I sat down and ate my dinner and enjoyed it, and was thankful.

I'm thankful for positive journalling, for sweet photos of my animals doing silly things, for the completion of coursework, for that feel-good feeling when you've got something done that's been hanging over your head for awhile. I'm thankful for Evanescence's new cd and for the fact that I can hear and enjoy it, for soft ice cream, for pleasant talks with friends, and for silly poems. I'm thankful for the ability to write, new socks, and cheerful hellos. And I'm thankful for printers that work, extra large hoodies that I can hide in, and fuzzy miniature ponies.

I'm thankful for the grace that my Daddy has given me, and all of us. I'm thankful for love from my mortal beloved, I'm thankful for feelings that can't be described by words, I'm thankful for the beauty in simple things.
